Its exceptional design ensures high patient compliance, even in cases of long term monitoring (up to 8 days). Suspended around the neck like a medallion, it is retained by an auto-adjustable cable, a particularly ergonomic configuration which drastically limits movement artefacts. The R.Test new housing makes it fully splashproof. In addition, its (medical grade) Polyurethane coating constitutes an efficient protection in cases of exposure to humid environments. The advanced micro-electronics are capable of real time QRS acquisition and processing. The R.Test Evolution 3 stores only significant events, thus avoiding the generation of huge data files usually associated with long term ECG monitoring.

3 The R.Test Evolution 3 is now equipped with a new acquisition system favouring the CM5 lead, for excellent results in arrhythmia detection and ST shifts measurement. The PC user interface (RTSoft) is a model of User Friendliness. Patient ID is directly sent to and stored in the recorder before it starts, enhancing Safety in data management. The number and type of events to be recorded as well as the pre and post event time are entirely programmable, allowing either a specific screening for the confirmation of a suspected pathology or a wider search field in the absence of strong clinical evidence. Fast transfer of the recorded data and the display of all the events, plus the heart rate curve and event histograms allow an immediate global overview. Each strip can also be zoomed separately for a detailed analysis. Events selection and report printout can then be done in a couple of mouse clicks.
