This course will cover, the basic science of plant diversity, growth, the science of propagation and production, and how to apply these basics to the growth and propagation of cannabis. CANNABIS CULTIVATION M/W/F 11:00AM 12:00PM Instructor: Leo Debevc This course is designed for beginners and experienced growers. This course is a scientific and comprehensive guide to the fundamentals of hydroponic, soil, organic cannabis gardening. Learn how to grow cannabis like a professional as we cover topics which include the basics of terminology, methods associated with each stage of the cannabis life cycle, the current technology, and the equipment used in the cannabis industry. COMMERCIAL CULTIVATION OPERATIONS T/TH 11:50AM 1:15PM Instructors: David Patton & Leo Debevc This course is designed to teach students the skills necessary to operate a large scale commercial marijuana cultivation operation. This course will cover, among other topics: the license application process and regulatory compliance, Section 280E of the Federal Tax Code, Six Sigma and lean production, nurseries, genetics, facility design, and security.

2 INTRODUCTION TO BUSINESS M/W/F 12:15PM 1:15PM Instructor: Kate Spies BUSINESS MAJOR CLASSES The purpose of this course is to develop a beginner s understanding of fundamental business concepts and how they apply to cannabis related businesses. This course will cover, among other subjects, basic business law concepts, accounting systems and methods, operations and management strategies, sales and marketing tactics, and the basics of a successful business plan. DISPENSARY OPERATIONS M/W/F 1:30PM 2:30PM Instructor: Jessie Dann This course will provide all the foundational training required for dispensary employees under Section 3796: of the dispensary rules promulgated by the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. 3 MEDICAL APPLICATIONS MAJOR CLASSES THE ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM M/W/F 2:45PM 3:45PM Instructor: Nicole Bebie This course focuses on the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) and medical cannabis use, how it affects the body, and how it is used to treat illnesses. We will decode the messages & trace the system-level connections found in the ECS from a neuroscience perspective. As this topic is taught in less than 53% of US medical schools, the students completing this course will know more about the endocannabinoid systems & how its activity relates to overall human wellness than most US medical doctors. CANNABIS RESEARCH STUDIES M/W/F 4:00PM 5:00PM Instructor: TBA This course is designed to teach students how to interpret medical research studies using many cannabis research examples. The course reviews recent research studies published by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine. The overall goal of the course is to equip students with the ability to interpret research and experimental data in the field of medical cannabis. PATIENT NAVIGATION T/TH 3:10PM 4:35PM Instructor: TBA The purpose of this course is to teach students the medical operations side of the cannabis business. This course discusses interactions between doctors, patients, nurses and caregivers. In this class students will learn how cannabis is recommended by doctors, retrieved by patients and everything in between.

4 REQUIRED COURSE FOR ALL MAJORS HISTORY OF CANNABIS M/W/F 8:30AM 9:30AM Instructor: Brian Adams The purpose of this course is to develop an in depth understanding of the history of cannabis from 2900 BC to modern day. This course will cover: the uses of cannabis and hemp and their historical agricultural and cultural importance, the prohibition of cannabis and subsequent cannabis law reform, and the inconsistencies in federal cannabis policy. ELECTIVE COURSES COOKING WITH CANNABIS T/TH 9:00AM 10:10AM Instructor: Mariann Offtermatt The purpose of this course is to develop an in depth understanding of cooking with cannabis. This course will cover cooking and baking basics, methods of infusion, and proper and accurate dosing. CANNABIS EXTRACTS T/TH 10:25AM 11:35AM Instructor: Leo Debevc This course covers the chemistry, processes, safety, equipment, setup, and regulation of the extraction of cannabinoids. CANNABIS LAW AND POLICY T/TH 1:30PM 2:55PM Instructor: Christina Eldredge This course is designed to teach students how state and federal laws are reformed in the United States. The course investigates the recent reform in State laws related to medical cannabis, how it was passed, and how effective the legislation was.
