11 Compliance Report The following reports should be submitted to ASIS HQ via the Chapter Compliance Reporting Form: Annual Account Balance Statement due 31 March Annual Profit and Loss Statement - due 31 March Chapter Audit Certification Form - due 31 March IRS Form 990 filing confirmation due 15 May

12 Annual Audit All chapters should perform an annual audit to ensure the accuracy of chapter accounting practices and identify areas for enhancement. Accuracy of records should be verified by an individual not connected with the chapter and with a knowledge of accounting principles, although a formal statement from a CPA is not be required in most cases. The Annual Audit should be reported to the chapter membership, and submitted to ASIS HQ via the Annual Compliance Reporting Form. Partner with neighboring chapter to review each others books

15 Succession Plan for Chapter Board What is last year s Chairman working on in your chapter? We don t want to loose the knowledge base Do you create a transition from Secretary through Chairman? If so, do your officers move because they want to or because they have to? It is okay for someone to NOT move up. Growth is great. Forced Growth is not.

17 4 Things we can do NOW At DC meeting we covered 4 things we can do now to increase member participation, and increase value: Student Sponsorships The goal for 2017 is to find ways to sponsor 2 students Virtual Meeting // Webinar The goal is before September, hold some type of meeting or seminar using an online solution. (Facebook Live, Go To Meeting) Communicate Clearly and Accurately Website, , Social Media Leadership Path Make sure there are true opportunities to anyone that wants to be involved
