This fire affected two adults and one pet. Red Cross provided lodging, food, clothing, shoes, comfort kits, and information about disaster mental health and disaster health services. Tom McCann (public affairs) Multnomah County January Red Cross was contacted by the City of Portland s Housing Bureau January 3. The weather forecast indicated that the weather would reach triggers for opening the Emergency Warming Center January 4 and 5. The warming center was opened January 4 at Congregation Shaarie Torah. Services were provided to seven clients. The warming center was open on January 5 at Imago Dei. Marion County January 4 9:30 PM Red Cross disaster team members Kirsten Barnes and Gerry Alden responded to a disaster in the 400 block of Cedar St. in Stayton, Ore. This single-family fire affected two adults and one pet. Red Cross provided lodging, food, comfort kits, and information about disaster mental health and disaster health services. Supporting the response were Tom McCann (public affairs) and Shirley Thornton (disaster mental health). Cowlitz County January 4 12:30 PM Disaster action team members Chris Kane and David Sasseen responded to a disaster in the 100 block of Indigo St. in Kelso, Wash. This single-family house fire, which occurred January 3, affected three adults, three children and seven pets. Red Cross provided food, comfort kits and information about disaster mental health and disaster health services. This single-family mobile home fire displaced one adult and one child. Red Cross provided lodging, food, clothing, comfort kits, and information about disaster mental health and disaster health services. Pacific County January 3 9:30 PM Disaster action team member Ken Rislow responded to a disaster in the 200 block of Pacific Ave. in South Bend, Wash. This single-family house fire occurred on January 2 and displaced two adults. The clients were met in a motel in Raymond, Wash. This single-family house fire affected displaced two adults and three pets. Multnomah County December 29 3:30 PM Disaster action team members Steve Hall, Dave Fleck and Sonja Hanchar met with clients who experienced a home fire on December 27 in the 2000 block of SE 161 Court in Portland, Ore. This multi-unit house fire affected three adults. Multnomah County December 22 5:30 PM Mike Redlin and Willie Bence, Red Cross disaster action team members, responded to a disaster in the 2700 block in Gresham, Ore. This multi-unit apartment fire displaced several adults. The apartment managers were able to find housing for most residents. Red Cross assisted displaced adults with lodging, food, clothing, comfort kits, and information about disaster mental health and disaster health services. Patrick Wilson (public affairs) Morrow County December 21 1:30 PM Disaster action team members Jamie and Doug Follett responded to a disaster that happened on December 20 in the 700 block of Paul Smith Road in Boardman, Ore. This mobile home fire displaced two adults, four children and two pets. Red Cross provided lodging, food, clothing, comfort kits, and information about disaster mental health and disaster health services. Deschutes County December 20 10:00 PM Disaster action team members Roy Larsen and Bob Pohly responded to a disaster in the 8100 block of SW 61 st St. in Redmond, Ore. This single-family house fire affected one adult and two children.
