1 NO COLON STILL ROLLIN AuGust 27,2014 The Legend at Bergamont Oregon, WIisconsin A golf outing to benefit the Colon and Rectal Surgery Fund at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health Department of Surgery

2 NO COLON STILL ROLLIN 12 pm First Tee Time 5:30 Dinner 6:00 Remarks 6:30 Raffle Closes Colon and Rectal Surgery Fund Gifts to the Colon and Rectal Surgery Fund directly support the advancement of the Colon and Rectal Surgery program at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. Research projects, clinical services, quality improvement initiatives and education all benefit from the financial investments you make in this fund. The surgeons in the Section of Colon and Rectal Surgery have made great improvements in care for patients with benign and malignant colon and rectal disease. They continue to treat a growing number of conditions with minimally invasive surgery, helping patients experience shorter hospital stays, fewer infections and faster recoveries. The surgical team also has made great strides in ileal pouch reconstructions over the last 30 years. They employ a surgical technique that allows patients to go on to lead normal lives and enjoy social and athletic activities their disease had kept them from in the past. Your support of these and other initiatives will help ensure the highest quality care for patients in Wisconsin and beyond. Your financial investment supports our work in: Ileal pouch reconstruction Colon, rectal and anal cancer research Crohn s disease Ulcerative colitis Familial polyp syndromes Diverticulitis Educating the next generation of outstanding colon and rectal surgeons
