6 Steps To getting Pregnant Naturally For You & Him
6 Steps to Getting Pregnant Naturally or with IVF / IUI for You & Him Thank you for signing up to my 6 steps plan to helping you get pregnant. Here at My Fertile Body we address all aspects of getting the body, mind, and spirit ready to conceive and carry a beautiful, healthy baby into this world. Combining Chinese and western medicine, Nutrition, Visualisation, Mediation and Acupressure points, while also focusing on male fertile health. I have put together here my best tips to helping you on the way to getting pregnant and just as importantly staying pregnant which I have collected through my 17 years of experience of bring 100s of babies into this world through my clinic. Along with my training in China and working with Zita West s holistic programme in England.
Step 1 Go to your doctor for a health check-up This is vitally important to check that you have not had or have a sexually transmitted disease that could cause damage to the fallopian tubes and damage to the sperm. Sexually transmitted disease often has no symptoms. Stop taking the pill or any other forms of contraception Make sure your rubella vaccinations are up to date. Get your husband or partner's sperm checked out, that is the easiest test to do. Step 2 Eat a healthy diet Great breakfast idea avocados with scrambled eggs. Eat lots of raspberries and blueberries, broccoli and cabbage. Lunch vegetable soup Dinner Sea Bass with asparagus and crispy potatoes, lemon and lime Cut down alcohol Stop smoking
Step 3 Know fertile day For a typical 28-day cycle you ovulate on day 14. How do you work this out, you minus 14 days from the last day of your cycle, from day 28 minus 14 means you ovulate on day 14. For a 30-day cycle you ovulate on day 16. If you cycle is all over the place, 21 days, 30 days, 29 days take the average and that s when you ovulate. But remember the best way to get pregnant is to make sure you have regular sex from when your period starts to when and after you ovulate. Lots of people recommend ovulation kits. I don t, they are too stressful, listen to your body, your body will tell you.
Step 4 Take the right vitamins and minerals Both of you need to be on folic acid and Inositol to help develop really healthy eggs and sperm. Step 5 Make sure you are having regular sex This is important, do not target sex for the day you ovulate it puts too much pressure on you both. Have regular sex every couple of days, sperm can live in you for 3 to 5 days so you will be covered, also fresh sperm is better, not saved up sperm for the day you ovulate. Step 6 De-stress I know this is easy me telling you this but believe in yourself and your body s ability to get pregnant, sometimes it takes time, and sometimes you will need help. But all of this is ok, that is why I am here to help you please join our Facebook Group here or send to lucy@myfetilebody.com
Tips for you man to help you conceive 1. Best thing is lots of good fun healthy sex 2. Stop smoking 3. Give up recreational drugs 4. Cut down on alcohol 5. Do not over exercise 6. Keep the testicles cool 7. Eat a good healthy diet 8. Cut down on caffeine 9. Lower your stress levels 10. Support each other
Questions related to your Health Is your smear test up to date? Yes No Have you had a sexual health screen test done? Yes No Have you been vaccinated for rubella? Yes No Are you taking Folic Acid? Yes No Questions about your cycle Do you have a regular cycle every 28 to 32 days? Yes No It is important to have a regular cycle that is regular to you so you know when you ovulate. Are your periods painful? Yes No This could be an indication you have endometriosis and you need to get further investigations done.
Is your cycle irregular? Yes No An Irregular cycle can be due to stress, a lot of travel, or upset, lost weight. Is your period heavy? 9 Questions About You How is your energy on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the top) where would you score? If it is low this can be a reason for not getting pregnant. How are your stress levels? High or low If your levels are high this can affect ovulation. Are you working long hours Yes No By working long hours your body might not have enough energy to help you make a baby. Are you getting enough sleep? Yes No Lack of sleep can affect ovulation and affect sperm Are you eating a well-balanced diet? Yes No Eating a healthy diet helps produce good healthy eggs and sperm.
Do you know when your fertile day is? Yes No You need to make sure you have plenty of sex before and during your fertile time. Are you aware of your fertile signs? Yes No This is mucus that comes before ovulation, this gives you a good indication that you are ready to ovulate. Are you having enough sex? Yes No This is important to get pregnant. Do you still like sex? Yes No If you have been trying for a long-time sex can become a chore. Have you had your thyroid checked? Yes No You need your hormones in balance to achieve a pregnancy.

Yes No Have you been on long term medication? Yes No Do you drink alcohol? Yes No Are you using recreational drugs? There is a lot you can do by taking the right supplements, eating the right foods, exercising for your body type, acupuncture with acupressure points, sleeping and distressing plans.
