Energy for Plants Agricultural Crop Additive (ACA) technology can be found in Awaken ST and Awaken as Zinc Ammonium Acetate (ZAA). LoKomotive contains Potassium Acetate. Research has shown Potassium Acetate to be the most plant-available form of foliar potassium on the market. Studies over the years have found that ACA enters the plant as the intact ZAA complex, which rapidly translocates to growing points where it boosts auxin production. Auxin also promotes cell enlargement and division in plant shoots and roots, and regulates root development. The level of auxin production in roots treated with ACA was compared to roots treated with zinc sulphate. Auxin levels in two separate ACA treatments (different rates applied) exceeded zinc sulphate treatments by an average of 85% and 113%. Independent trials have shown an increase in root dry weight across many plant species, ranging from 6% to 23%. The larger root mass was consistent across all species tested, is characteristic of the ZAA treatment and evidence of elevated auxin production. A healthy and vigorous root system is critical to achieving higher yields by providing the crop with better access to moisture and soil nutrients needed for healthy growth. 3
Awaken ST (7-0-1) is a nutritional seed treatment containing zinc ammonium acetate, potassium, plus a balanced micronutrient package including boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum, and zinc. Awaken ST can be applied in combination with fungicide and insecticide seed treatments. Post germination, Awaken ST promotes early vigour and faster establishment often with increased root mass. This benefits a young plant particularly when early growing conditions are not ideal cold/wet or hot/ dry. Increased yields from Awaken ST treated seed has also been measured in multiple crop types compared to yields of untreated seed. Labelled for use but not limited to the following crops: Cereal grains, canola, maize, cotton, pulse crops (non-inoculated only), and sorghum (forage and grain). The use rate for Awaken ST is: Cereal grains and Maize = L/tonne of seed Canola = L/tonne of seed Cotton = 5.0L/tonne of seed Guaranteed Analysis of Awaken ST Nutrient W/V % Nitrogen Potassium (K) Boron (B) Copper (Cu) Iron (Fe) Manganese (Mn) Molybdenum (Mo) Zinc (Zn) Derived from: Urea Ammonium Nitrate, Anhydrous Ammonia, Potassium Nitrate, Sodium Borate, Copper Citrate, Ferrous Citric Acid, Manganese Citrate, Sodium Molybdate, Zinc Citrate Loveland Agri Products Product Guide
Pulse Seed Coat is specifically designed to maximise colonisation of rhizobia bacteria onto the roots of pulse crops. The formulation contains zinc and manganese which are critical to early plant growth, a liquid kelp extract as a source of alginate to enhance rhizobia during the seeding phase, molybdenum to maximise nitrogen fixation, plus Foundation LM as a source of concentrated biochemistry containing beneficial enzymes, proteins and organic acids. Field experiments have demonstrated that a focus on increasing the survival of rhizobia can lead to rapid root growth and development in plant germination. Enhancing rhizobia colonisation with Pulse Seed Coat has been shown to increase yield, as well as significantly increase deep N reserves as a direct result of the increased rhizobia colonies fixing more N from the soil which can have added benefits on the following year s crop. The use rate for Pulse Seed Coat is 5L/tonne of seed and can be applied with inoculant. 5
Awaken (20-0-2) is a complex of zinc ammonium acetate, potassium, plus a balanced micronutrient package including boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum, and zinc that can be applied as a foliar spray or injected in-furrow. 9 Organic Acid Black Label Zinc ( Zn1% + Organic Acids 7.1%) is a liquid phosphorous plus nitrogen fertiliser additive or replacement that aids in nutrient uptake by reducing soil tie-up of applied nutrient and leaching. Black Label Zinc contains organic acids that are derived from leonardite ore which includes humic acid, fulvic acid, humin fragments plus a carbohydrate package. The organic acids are combined with the liquid nutritionals using a patented reaction process. It has the highest organic acid content of any formulation on the market that includes nitrogen, phosphorous and zinc. Black Label Zinc is currently the purest form of phosphoric acid available with virtually no heavy metals.it has a very low salt index making it extremely seed safe when injected in-furrow and foliar safe when applied to the canopy. It can be an effective foliar nutrient when mid or late season phosphate levels fall below optimum values. The use rate for Black Label Zinc is: Field crops inc cereals, canola and legumes = 5-20L/ha Row crops inc cotton, corn, legumes, sorghum and sugar cane = 10-30L/ha Vegetables and cucurbitus = 10-60L/ha Foliar = 10-60L/ha 9
Organic Acid Black Ultra ( Organic Acids 22%) is ideal for growers interested in higher CEC, water retention, fertiliser enhancement and overall improved soil biology and plant health resulting in increased yield, quality and return on investment. The technology in Black Ultra makes it the only product on the market able to provide both a humin component and a carbohydrate package in addition to humic and fulvic acids. Black Ultra can be applied as a soil, foliar or fertigated product and is specifically manufactured to help growers increase their soil and plant productivity. The use rate for Black Ultra is 2.5 5L/ha for use on a wide range of crops. Soil and fertigated applications may benefit from multiple applications. Loveland Agri Products Product Guide
Foliar Nitrogen Maximum N-Pact (29-0-0) is a resin based nitrogen which contains an amino acid package as a stress reduction agent. It contains a slow release form of nitrogen as triazone urea (33%), which results in less leaf burn and better absorption.this resin based formulation allows the nitrogen to readily enter the leaf, available for translocation and utilisation once inside the plant. Maximum N-Pact is further enhanced with an amino acid package called GABA (Gamma Amino Butyric Acid). GABA is a non-protein amino acid that accumulates rapidly in plant tissue in response to biotic and abiotic stress. There have been a number of suggestions as to the role GABA might have in plants, ranging from straight forward involvement in nitrogen metabolism, to far more complex signalling between plant-animal and plant-microbe interactions. It has also been proposed that it might function as an intracellular signalling molecule in plants. In general terms when a plant begins to undergo stressful conditions it produces GABA to help reduce the effects of the stressful environment. The GABA in the Maximum N-Pact helps reduce plant stress and therefore helps increase the uptake and utilisation of the applied nitrogen in Maximum N-Pact. The use rate for Maximum N-Pact is 10 20L/ha and can be applied to a wide range of crop types. Maximum N-Pact Excellent source of foliar nitrogen Improved crop safety reduced phytotoxicity Reduced volatility Contains GABA (Gamma Amino Butyric Acid) Not rainfall dependent for plant utilisation Can be tank mixed with most herbicides and fungicides for a one pass application. 11
Inositol Technology (Dicotyledon crops) (Monocothledon crops) NutriSync D & NutriSync M are unique micronutrient products designed to enhance plant physiological activities. A critical component of the NutriSync technology is inositol - a transport synergist that binds strongly to mineral nutrients and organic compounds. It has been proven to remobilise nutrients tied up in older leaves & roots moving them to the growing points of the plant like new shoots, developing buds and fruit. Inositol is naturally produced by most plants and in NutriSync it is specially formulated to increase uptake and translocation of both applied and existing nutrients. NutriSync can be tank mixed with foliar micronutrient and foliar nitrogen applications across all crops. The inositol will increase the uptake and efficiency of the other nutrients by acting as a chelator. It then assimilates and transports the applied nutrients to where the highest demand is in the plant. The use rate for NutriSync D & NutriSync M is ml/ha. Inositol plays a key role in the natural growth and development of plants, participating in the following physiological processes: Phosphatidylinositol (PI) signalling pathway Phytic acid biosynthesis nutrition storage and use Cell wall biosynthesis and protection Auxin storage and transport Osmoprotection plant stress management Signal transduction plant adaptation to a changing environment Loveland Agri Products Product Guide
Biochemistry The Backbone of Soil Microbial Functioning Foundation LM and Basis XC are two naturally derived biochemical products, designed to increase the nutrient availability of applied fertilisers, promote nutrient mineralisation within the soil and support root growth through biochemical reactions with the plant. The biochemical compounds powering Foundation LM and Basis XC are a combination of enzymes, organic acids and proteins. These compounds aid in breaking down organic materials and signal changes for microbial response. Biochemical compounds are produced by microorganisms and by plant roots; they are the tools by which biochemical signals are created and transmitted. These biochemical compounds are critical for microbial function and communication in the soil, determine their ability to process nutrients, stimulate root growth and perform other functions critical to plant health and nutrition. Benefits of Biochemistry include Increased nutrient availability Improved plant performance Enhanced nutrient use efficiency Better root growth and development Statistically enhances: Root tips Root mass Root length 13
Basis XC is an innovative biochemical fertiliser catalyst that is applied to granular fertiliser to increase nutrient availability and mineralisation.
