2 HANSEAMINO ORGANIC LIQUID FERTILISER HANSEAMINO is an organic liquid fertiliser which, due to enzymatic hydrolysis, contains natural proteins, chiefly large quantities of L-amino acids which crops require and are indispensable in viticulture. HANSEAMINO helps the vine to compensate for damage, especially after frost. The crop treated becomes more resistant to biotic and abiotic stress. HANSEAMINO is not hazardous in the recommended application quantity and has no adverse effects on humans, plants or water. Composition HANSEAMINO is a plant additive in the form of an organic liquid fertiliser. Amino acids total 24% Free amino acids 13% Dry mass 32% Mode of action The smallest molecules (free amino acids) are best absorbed by the plant and thus have the greatest effect. Plants quickly absorb high-quality free L-amino acids when they are available. These free L-amino acids become part of the plant's metabolic system, providing the vine with extra energy for stronger and healthier growth and increased resistance to biotic and abiotic stress. This is because the plant can save substantial energy that would otherwise be needed by it to produce these amino acids itself, an energy-intensive process. The special production involved means that HANSEAMINO contains very high volumes of free L-amino acids. Application and dosage HANSEAMINO can be used for different crop types. Application method: Spraying of leaves with common sprayers which, optimally, work at high pressure. The best results are achieved with a fine nozzle with a diameter of less than 300 micrometres. The sprayers should be rinsed thoroughly to prevent them clogging. There are 20 basic N-containing amino acids in plants and animals which are needed to build up proteins that are essential for energy management and, consequently, indispensable for conservation, growth, vitality and reproduction. Since all 20 N-containing amino acids are used both in combination in all fundamental processes and independently of each other, it is important that the plant has access to all these amino acids. A deficiency of one or more amino acids can limit a chain of processes and even break a chain at the weakest link. Plants quickly absorb high-quality free L-amino acids when these are made available to them. These free L- amino acids become part of the plant's metabolic system, providing them with extra energy for stronger and healthier growth and increased resistance to biotic and abiotic stress. This is because the plant can save substantial energy that would otherwise be needed by it to produce these amino acids itself, an energyintensive process. It also ensures that the administration of a product such as HanseAmino with a wide and broad spectrum of free L-amino acids does not become a limiting factor for the development and performance of the plant. There are many amino acid products on the market, and these are certainly not all the same. Most products containing high levels of amino acids are produced from substances containing collagen (hooves, horn, bones, skin tissue, blood, gelatin). These amino acids are mainly obtained through chemical transformation (hydrolysis). This is necessary to crack the hard collagen material. The drawback of chemical hydrolysis is that many valuable amino acids are destroyed during the manufacturing process, leading to a product with only a few amino acids in a high concentration, as can be demonstrated by the creation of an amino acid profile. During hydrolysis, about 50% of the resulting amino acids are of no use to the plant. These are in the so-called D-form (instead of the valuable L-form). D-amino acids cannot be utilised by the plant and may even be phytotoxic. Finally, concentrations of dietary fibre (heavy metals, salts) are relatively high in such chemically generated products. Enzymatically produced products predominantly contain the L-amino acids required by plants. These products have a broader, more versatile amino acid profile because there is no destruction of amino acids during the relatively mild hydrolysis process.

(page 2) The difference between HanseAmino and a conventional animal-based (collagen) product is that HanseAmino contains at least twice as many plant-available L-amino acids. HanseAmino is an enzymatically hydrolysed product in which hardly any D-amino acids form. Another important aspect is that the amino acid profile of HanseAmino indicates a distinct presence of different amino acids when compared to collagen-based products. This richer diversity poses a lower risk to the plant of experiencing a shortage of some of these essential amino acids it absolutely needs. Finally, the molecular size of the amino acids should be pointed out. The smallest amino acid fractions are free amino acids (the specific links of a protein chain), followed by peptides (parts of a chain) and, finally, protein (the whole chain). The smallest molecules (free amino acids) are the easiest for the plant to absorb and thus have the greatest effect. Certified analyses indicate that HanseAmino contains very high quantities of L-free amino acids when compared to other competitor products.
