1 Orthotics The integrated KFO system was designed to give the orthotist maximum prescriptionfilling capability from a minimum inventory of interconnecting modular components. KFO is a completely modular system for lower extremity orthoses. The Drop Lock Knee Joints are made of the highest quality stainless steel. With the Drop Lock Ring raised and the joint flexed, there are no sharp angles nor jutting extension stops to snag or cut clothing. The Hosmer nkle Joints, carefully engineered for maximum strength and durability, are available as Dorsiflexion ssist, Free/Limited Motion, and Double ction with or without pins. The Side ars are secured into channels for a stronger joint construction and to help prevent breakage when being bent. There are three stirrup systems; the Standard Shoe, the molded UCL Shoe Insert and the Caliper. ll stirrups are made of heat treated stainless steel. Hosmer Hosmer Dorrance Corporation H189

3 KFO System KFO System KFO (Knee nkle Foot Orthosis) modular components provide maximum flexibility Components are easily assembled into a custom orthosis Provides both light and heavy duty side bars, knee joints, stirrups, and ankle joints To Order: Each long leg orthosis requires two knee joints, four side bars, and two ankle joints with matching stirrups to make a complete system. Each short leg orthosis (FO) requires two straight side bars, and two ankle joints with matching stirrups. Usual selection of knee and ankle joints is straight for the lateral side and contoured for the medial side. See following pages for ordering information. KFO Ordering Diagram H191
