3 The Footsteps R2 features a new and improved increased-rigidity shell encased in a tri-laminar EVA/poron outer casing. The polypropylene shell is anatomically designed to provide maximum control and support without sacrificing volume in the shoe. The Poron topcover provides unmatched shock attenuation. Poron performance urethanes provide the highest degree of shock absorption, outperforming competitive materials to offer the best cushion against impact. As always, the R2 is only available to healthcare professionals and is not available in retail stores. 4 CLASSIC The FootSteps Classic off-the-shelf inserts were developed to bridge the technological gap between currently available pre-fabricated insoles and custom foot orthotics. The Semi-Rigid EVA orthotic base was anatomically designed to stabilize and support the foot, while allowing for full-foot function and adaptation throughout all phases of normal gait. Current OTS products provide only arch cushioning or rigid arch support with no stabilization. By incorporating a poron topcover onto the EVA base, FootSteps Classic insoles also provide unmatched shock absorption and impact protection. 7 VERTICAL The FootSteps Vertical was designed to allow the Healthcare Practitioner to more easily address and compensate for a leg-length discrepancy, lower-back anomaly with related back pain, Achilles tendinitis, or for other rehab uses. By incorporating the lift onto an arch support, practitioners are able to address multiple indications without sacrificing volume in the shoe. 8 About FootSteps Orthopedic Soft Goods Since the introduction of the FootSteps Off-The-Shelf Orthotics in 2000, customers have been so impressed with our innovation that they continue to request other quality products for use in their O & P brace shops and PT clinics. With the growth of our Off-The-Shelf Orthotic business, we were able to aquire a successful soft-goods manufacturing company who was already making high-quality neoprene orthopedic soft goods. The launch of the FootSteps Orthopedic Soft Goods line was a natural fit for us and our customers. Customers are very happy with the same quality Made in the USA products, as in our traditional Off-The-Shelf Orthotic products. FootSteps Orthopedic Soft Goods are made from high quality, latex-free material. Some products are available in traditional neoprene and others are available in a perforated version of this material. In 2010 FootSteps introduced Aeroflex to customers nationwide. It has been an instant success. Aeroflex is thinner than traditional Neoprene with improved breathability, while still providing the same compression as tradtiional neoprene. Aeroflex is a lighter and cooler alternative for those active patients in hot and humid climates.
