How long does it take for them to be fixed Is there medication for this? What the Research Says: Support groups can be be significant source for support and understanding of the particular issues facing family members of people who hoard (Sampson, Yeats & Harris, 2012). Bibliotherapy-based support group can significantly reduce hoarding symptoms and hoarding-related beliefs (Frost, R. O., Pekareva-Kochergina, A., & Maxner, S. 2011) 9
