4 Mectronic uses innovative Switching Real Time technology for Doctor Tecar : thanks to this important step forward in technology it is possible to reach high power and increased therapeutic performance. Switching Real Time technology has also allowed the dimensions of the device to be reduced. Doctor Tecar is compact, high power, and easily transportable. The Doctor Tecar handpiece has been designed for use in both capacitive and resistive modes: the therapy can be set with a single command, without having to change the applicator. 5 Single Handpiece Doctor Tecar features a single handpiece for both capacitive and resistive modes. With one simple command it is possible to change from one mode to the other: simplicity and functionality in cutting-edge therapeutic technology. Bio-transfer System Doctor Tecar features an innovative system for the measurement of the quantity of energy transferred to the tissues, which is shown on the display and communicated with an acoustic signal. The system measures the energy transferred to the tissue in the anatomical area being treated, in relation to time and the power supplied. This system allows the evaluation of the active hyperemia and the resultant increase in the flow of electrolytes, showing the variation in electrical impedance during the treatment compared to the initial value, at rest. The variation in impedance lasts until after the end of the treatment, ensuring the correct and continuous oxygenation of all tissue components which are treated. Timer and Joule Modes The Doctor Tecar base mode allows the therapy to be set through the energy transferred (Joule mode) and the treatment time (Timer mode).

9 ADJUSTABLE PULSED MODE: Effective thermal control During the treatment of pathologies involving skeletal muscles during the acute phase, an excessive increase of the effects of active hyperemia can cause vasodilatation which leads to increases sensitivity in the pain receptors, generating patient intolerance of the therapy. To reduce this, Doctor Tecar features the Adjustable Pulsed Mode. With this mode the energy supply is carried out at regular time intervals. favour correct cellular homeostasis. In this way unwanted side effects such as increased pain can be avoided. 10 mode The Avx Mode allows the integration of 3 new modes: Automatic Mode Automatic Pulsed Mode Transport Mode With AVx mode tecar therapy will never be the same: with three new modes designed to meet the needs of the therapist, Doctor Tecar transforms into a single platform which is able to best support therapeutic activity. The Automatic mode has been designed to allow the therapist to be free of the manual use of tecar therapy: the special cable and three electrodes allow even complex shaped areas of the body to be treated. The Automatic Pulsed mode was created from the combination of the Automatic and Adjustable Pulsed modes; a therapy which, thanks to pulsed supply, avoids rises in temperature and allows a more focused treatment. The Transport mode allows the deep absorption of active substances through the energetic transfer of Tecar therapy.

11 AUTOMATIC MODE: For static treatment set by the operator Often during their day-to-day work the therapist needs to free themselves temporarily from the manual treatment, as they operate constantly and without pause. For this reason Doctor Tecar has introduced the possibility of operating in Automatic mode. This innovation frees the therapist from the treatment. Auto-control System The patient can interrupt the therapy at any time; the treatment can be paused with the easy-to-use stop button. Automatic cable The special cable with three electrodes allows Doctor Tecar to treat areas of the body with complex shapes. 12 AUTOMATIC PULSED MODE: Static treatment with thermal control From the combination of the adjustable pulsed and automatic modes comes the ability to operate in automatic pulsed mode: a treatment set by the operator in which the energy is delivered in a constant impulse, for which it is possible to set the duration of the delivery and the pause (t on and t off). Thanks to this mode the level of heat felt by the patient is lowered. The treatment is carried out using the special automatic cable. By adjusting the impulses, it is possible to personalize the treatment.

13 TRANSPORT MODE: For the transdermal transfer of active substances With Doctor Tecar Therapy it is possible to facilitate the absorption of active substances through the skin. This therapy, known as transdermal vehiculation allows a range of pathologies to be treated. It is a non-invasive method which is able to transport active substances contained in creams to depth, passing through the barrier of the skin and reaching the seat of the problem. By using active substances in creams together with the energy transfer of Doctor Tecar you can get the benefits deep beneath the skin, while reducing the quantity of cream used thanks to greater absorption. Dedicated library In the pathology library it is possible to find a section dedicated to the use of Doctor Tecar for transdermal transport, with therapeutic protocols which have been studied to guarantee the maximum efficiency if the treatment.
