Covator The power pack in the X-ray room With its integrated mobile column system and a wall stand, the Covator is the ideal comprehensive solution for hospital use as well as for small X-ray rooms in private practices. X-rays are easy to manage with the patient standing, sitting and lying down. Even lateral views are possible without problems. The maximum patient bearing load of 320 kg makes it possible to take almost all variants of X-rays.

5 The Universal Imaging Point The ability to adjust the height of the Bucky table makes it easy for the patient to get on and off and provides an optimised working height for the user. The floating and height-adjustable tabletop in combination with the mobile Bucky drawer and the optional transversely movable tube carrier arm enables diagnostic examinations of the patient s whole trunk without repositioning. The optional automatic drawer coupling ensures permanent centring of the X-ray beam. The Covator has been developed for analogue use and for use with digital detectors and can be flexibly upgraded. The compact construction permits incorporation of an X-ray generator into the table. A wall mount makes it possible to take X-rays of standing and sitting patients. For this, the column is moved to the end of the table. 5

6 Attractive Features The height of the Bucky Adaptation to Room Conditions In combination with the optional tabletop, installed from above, the Covator requires only a 3.5 x 2.5 x 2.3 m footprint (length x width x height). The available energy supply permits installation of a wide variety of X-ray generators under the table. Economical Installation and Maintenance The well-known made in Germany quality keeps maintenance to a minimum and provides extremely rapid construction and installation with the slender guide rail system. Depending on the position of the wall mount, the operating side can be changed, even during installation. Best Patient Positioning The low position of 55 cm permits rapid repositioning of the patient and minimises the effort required for this. This low position for getting on means that even disabled patients can be positioned without effort. The high range of movement up to 90 cm ensures comfortable preparation of the patient for the examination. Furthermore, the (optional) transverse tube carrier arm enhances patient comfort and ensures rapid and precise centring of the X-ray beam. Patient Safety Paramount The safe-click operation prevents unintended movement of the X-ray table. The integrated collision protection avoids possible collisions with objects in the room.
