2 MasterLab The new MasterLab is a lung function system designed around the JAEGER concept of accuracy, solid design, flexibility and ease of handling forming an integral part of respiratory research and diagnosis. The MasterLab is available in Body, Transfer and Combi systems. MasterLab pro-body Bodyplethysmography is the quickest and most precise method for the analysis of breathing mechanics. MasterLab pro is the result of many years of experience in the field of Bodyplethysmography. Outstanding performance in a minimum of time The heart of the MasterLab Body is the Bodyplethysmography program. It takes between 1 and 2 minutes to determine airway resistance (SRAW), intrathoracic gas volume (ITGV) and all parameters of static (ERV, VT, VCin, TLC, RV,...) and dynamic (FVC, FEV1, MEF5,...) lung volumes with minimum patient cooperation. For the first time, it is possible to determine the patient's Closing Volume in routine testing. A completely new feature is the Reentrant Mode, which allows you to retrieve and subsequently modify a previously performed measurement.
3 MasterLab ft^ Options MasterLab also meets your requirements. Convince yourself. A variety of options and expansion possibilities are provided. The Patient is the focus of all types of medical work. In addition to diagnostic equipment JAEGER also offers a complete System Concept designed to meet the needs of the clinician. Wheel chair body box MasterLab offers a real solution for measuring handicapped people sitting in a wheel chair. The wheel chair is moved into the box via an additional door. The patients feel relaxed, allowing high quality and precise measurements to be performed without any stress for the patients. Compliance It has always been difficult to obtain precise Compliance results. The MasterLab Compliance program is based on approved standards; it does, however, also provide innovative methods of data processing which allow for fast measurements and reliable results both at rest and during exercise. m I <]yn Cdyn Pred Adi Act? A modern and sophisticated electro-mechanical system ensures accurate and efficient drug dosage. For on-line trend control MasterLab pro provides a versatile observation program. Test sequences and observation modules can be generated individually to meet specific requirements. Option IOS and APS pro
4 Impulse-Oscillometry IOS The IOS option opens up new possibilities to measure the pulmonary mechanics. The recorded parameters are displayed in form of an easy-to-interpret lung model with central and peripheral respiratory parameters. Now, distribution impairments can be analyzed quickly, independently of patient cooperation. tttngs om U.tiky tuncti ЭЭ1 BSt i/,< FRC He-Rebreathing Instead of or in addition to a Bodyplethysmography test you can also determine Functional Residual Capacity according to the traditional helium dilution method. As during the rebreathing phase oxygen is supplied, you can measure patients with severe distribution impairments. wheel chair box - a real solution for your patients. Diffusion Membrane For verification or quantification of a firbrosis, it is useful to determine the Capillary Blood Volume (Qc) and the Membrane Component (Dm) in addition to the Transfer Factor of the Lung (TLCO). Diffusion Steady State Optionally, you can measure the Transfer Factor of the Lung at rest and during exercise. As the measurement is independent of patient cooperation, it is especially useful where cooperation is poor or respiration is severly impaired. JScope For scientifc purposes the MasterLab is a useful tool to acquire primary data. JScope records the basic data and immediately converts them into the desired values and units. In the Scope mode the data can be viewed real-time and saved for subsequent analysis or for further processing.
5 MasterLab pro-transfer The MasterLab Transfer from JAEGER is the gold standard for determining diffusion capacity. Easy handling and perfect results The classic Single-Breath Diffusion Measurement is vital for pulmonary function testing - especially for the diagnosis of different types of interstitial pulmonary disorders. mi i :;INIUI imiifiinvrtjib i o Settings View Medicalion:[none? i ui.it«.ihhh '.,-.'.,\,\ RV-He RVXTLC TLCHe IDS. 51 B7.ll ERV 144 FRC 356 FRCXTC B*He О 87ЖСО The Spirometry/Flow-Volume program is delivered as standard with the MasterLab pro. Flow-volume measurements are highly dependant on patient cooperation. The integrated animation program is a clear advantage when performing flow-volume measurements especially on children and elderly patients. Optimal hygiene The MasterLab offers a real solution for infection control. All parts coming into contact with the patient can be easily disinfected or sterilized. Reliable results The MasterLab calibration software precisely calibrates the gas analysers and stores the results automatically. This allows for detailed analysis of system accuracy and reliability. Comprehensive calibration reports provide documented individual or trend reports for perfect control. Data exchange through networks.
