CK Treatment Live your life without reading glasses
Live your life without reading glasses CK treatment can restore your youthful vision and let you once again enjoy life naturally without glasses. Would you like to read the newspaper, see a menu, use a mobile phone, score your golf card in the rain, put on make up and fiddle with all the other little things in life which have become difficult to handle? CK is the answer to shed that middle aged look of glasses perched on the end of your nose or hanging around your neck. CK is a safe, non-invasive, non-laser 3 minute procedure, which can release you from the burden of old age specs. Presbyopia the need for reading glasses When you reach your mid-forties reading material gets harder to see. You have to hold things further away to be able to read them clearly. Soon your arms are too short and an expensive trip to the opticians is needed. The cause is that the lens inside the eye does not change its shape as it has become stiff with age. Your distance vision is not affected by age unless you are long sighted. CK treatment restores the natural vision of your youth, allowing you to enjoy life without the hassle and expense of glasses once again. Just imagine never having to remember to take your glasses with you or to remember where you left them. Quick, simple and effective CK treatment from Optimax has helped thousands of people to say goodbye to their reading glasses. optimax.co.uk
Why Choose CK Treatment? Better Safety 150,000 treatments performed worldwide to date, with absolutely no serious problems reported. The radio waves do not go near the pupil and side effects are minimal because no tissue is removed. Better Results Following treatment, 83% of patients can read the newspaper (font size 10) and many can read much smaller print too. Fast Treatment Normally available on your first visit taking just 3 minutes to complete, with a quick and easy recovery. Increased Confidence Feel comfortable knowing there is no cutting, tissue removal or injections and because we use anaesthetic eye drops, there is no pain either. Better Prices Our prices are about half the cost of the same treatment at other clinics and credit is available to everyone *. Before treatment After treatment * Bank account details required For further advice or to book your FREE consultation call
Suitability You are probably suitable if: You wear glasses mainly for reading You didn t wear glasses before the age of 40 Your glasses for distance prescription is near zero (between to +1.5) You have healthy eyes You are not suitable if you suffer from any form of autoimmune connective tissue disease and rheumatoid arthritis. How CK Treatment Works CK is a non-surgical, non-invasive, non-laser treatment which doesn t involve removing tissue or cutting of any kind. Radio waves are beamed in a circle of dots, shrinking the tissue of the cornea. This shrinkage acts like a belt tightening, making the eye a little short-sighted to mimic the effect of multi-focal glasses. If you only use glasses for reading, then just one eye needs to be treated to restore clear close vision. If you use occasional glasses for distance vision, you may require treatment to both eyes. Re-profiling the shape of the eye enables good near vision without affecting your overall distance vision when using both eyes. The total time in the clinic is about an hour and a half, and your reading vision should be improved almost immediately. Recovery After the procedure you may experience mild discomfort and foreign body sensation in the eye for about 12 hours or so. You should notice an immediate improvement in reading vision and you can return to normal activities without much delay. After treatment you should not rub your eyes and ladies should not wear eye make up for two days. We recommend that you do not drive immediately after treatment while you get used to your new vision. The final result will take a few weeks and you should not worry if your vision fluctuates a little in this period. You are required to attend an aftercare appointment, normally one to four days post treatment. optimax.co.uk
5 Cost We are constantly striving to bring you the most competitive prices, but if you do manage to find the same treatment cheaper elsewhere, we ll match it. Please see our price list for details. Consultation fee is charged at 60. Is CK Permanent? As you get older, stronger reading glasses are needed and the effect of treatment wears off. CK eye treatment has been described as turning back the clock on your eyes. However, with age the clock keeps on ticking and this means extra treatment is required every 2 to 5 years. Treatment at this stage costs just half of our standard charge. Results 82.7% can read newspaper print or smaller following CK. 100% 80% 76.9% 82.7% 86.5% 94.2% 100.0% 60% 55.8% 40% 20% 0% 36.5% 3.8% n4 n5 n6 n8 n10 n12 n14 n18 Smaller than newspaper print Newspaper Print Larger than newspaper print For further advice or to book your FREE consultation call
