6 C Biološki efekt Tecartherapy equipment (Electrical Transference of Capacitive and Resistive Energy) are medium wave devices for application in different health sectors (Sports and Traumatology Physiotherapy, Vascular, Urogynaecological Physiotherapy, Physioaesthetics, Cosmetic Gynaecology or Intraoral) because of their powerful biological and physiological effects. 9 In order to illustrate the effectiveness of the different formats for application, we have conducted a thermographic study. We have analysed, on one hand, the influence of applying TECAR (CAP or RES manual treatments) and, on the other, the influence of the application of TECAR EVOLUTION (AUTO and CAP+RES). In each of these cases, we have measured the temperature before and after each application, observing in the following thermographic images that at higher temperatures, the colour of the image is shown in white.
