Assisted in writing and submitting NIMH grants, including collection and analysis of pilot data. Collaborated to create paradigms to assess information processing in psychopathology; responsible for designing protocols, coordinating client and undergraduate samples, data management and analysis, and drafting of corresponding conference papers. Responsible for managing operations of patient clinic, including billing, scheduling and other administrative duties. Supervisor: Nader Amir, Ph.D Research Assistant, CELF Family Interaction Project Sloan Center for the Everyday Lives of Families University of California, Los Angeles Collaborated with research team to develop guidelines establishing inter-rater reliability for coding the video data, test inter-rater reliability of coding team and create an instructional guide outlining procedures for future coders. Used 4D Prism software to code and organize digital video database tracking the daily activities, locations and interactions of 32 Los Angeles families. Responsible for training new team members in coding procedures including software usage and reliability and accuracy protocol. Used 4D Prism software and daily activity logs to find key interpersonal interactions relating to family power dynamics. Project will use this data to evaluate how interpersonal contexts influence the experience and intensity of positive and negative emotional states, as well as the behavioral responses associated with these states.
