Programme Monday 24 April Registration Introduction to survey experiments Lunch Introduction to analysis of survey experimental data Analysis of survey experimental data, individual work on own/provided data set Evening assignment: Individual work on data analysis. Tuesday 25 April Brief presentations of data analysis work. Feedback by instructor and other students Hypothesis development. Independent, supervised work on own project. Output: Students to write a brief summary of hypotheses they hope to test with their first survey experiment Lunch Students present initial hypotheses orally. Feedback by instructor(s) and by other students Independent work on own survey experiment; hypothesis development. Students work on a description of an experiment to test hypotheses. Evening assignment: Individual work on experiment specification Course dinner, instructors and participants. 1
