12 12 PGDGC 09: PROJECT AND INTERNSHIP GROUP PROJECT WORK: Students shall have to complete a Group Project pertaining to various social problems with implications for Guidance and counselling. The strength of each group shall be 04. The Group Project Report shall carry a weightage of 60 marks. INTERNSHIP: The practical part shall consist of 20 days of supervised internship training. The students will work towards identifying their own theme for internship. Students shall be required to choose a particular area viz. School, College, University, Drug De-Addiction Centre, Psychiatric Disease Hospital, Juvenile Centres, Special Schools, Rehabilitation Centres, Orphanages, NGOs, or any other organization where they would like to work and will actually conduct counselling under supervision. This component shall carry a weight of 40 marks. NB: The Project Report Evaluation shall be done internally, and the evaluation of Internship/Practical work shall be done by the concerned institution/organization.
