I wrote ths book because I ve worked wth clents and I see the same common problems pop-up agan and agan. These common roadblocks, that some women just can t get around, are completely avodable. It s frustratng to see women, who can manage teams, careers, busnesses or famly, but struggle wth fatgue, stress, anxety and overwhelm, leadng to burnout. They thnk they can do t themselves, f they could just fnd the rght formula of det, vtamns or medcnes. They nvest n the wrong thngs, and n the wrong order, and end up frustrated, burnt-out and lookng to escape lfe.

3 Tred of feelng tred? Most women I see today (about 3 out of 4) are slently strugglng wth hormonal problems brought on by Adrenal Fatgue Syndrome. They are super tred but wred, and rushng from one thng to another. No matter what they eat - they gan weght. They feel sad more often and don t laugh as much as they used to. Worry and overwhelm fll ther day, many have descrbed they feel lke they re dyng on the nsde - lke there s no lfe force. Adrenal Fatgue s where excessve stress overtme makes your body tred and trggers a knock on effect to other hormones. The symptoms that show up I call the Bg 5: Fatgue, Anxety, Weght gan, Depresson and Female Hormonal Problems No matter what they do, eat and take, t dosen t get better. Each day feels lke hard work, and over tme you re no longer the person you used to be. You lose your spark! And you pull back from lfe. All the whle, your doctors blood test show that everythng s fne, but you re not fne! I want to show you that ths s NOT how lfe has to be, regardless of how busy you are. That what you re feelng now, s not your fnal destnaton. There s a road out and you can fnd your way back to vtalty. And I want to show you how to do t n a way that expands your lfe, not contracts t.

4 You know those women who look lke they have t all together? A career they love and are damn good at, lovng relatonshps wth men they chersh, mantan a healthy body and have strong mndset to get through anythng. Ths doesn t happen by accdent. The secret sn t because they re specal, have t easer than you or have more tme (we all have the same 24 hours)... Successful women get the rght support, buld a proper plan and follow t all the way through. That s t. It s that s smple. Over 10 years ago I ht burnout n a bg way. Even though I was a Naturopath and dd all the rght thngs, I felt just lke you - Tred,, stressed out and always worred about somethng. I was unhappy wth my lfe and my mojo dsappeared. I couldn t eat wthout gettng bloated and I was steadly ganng weght. I knew my hormones were out of whack, that I had Adrenal Fatgue Syndrome, but no matter how many herbal medcnes & supplements I took, and dets I followed - over 5 years I got worse. It wasn t untl I found the real problem, that my other symptoms and problems fell away naturally...and fast. It was one week to the next, I felt lke a dfferent woman. When I took a step back from my lfe and got more perspectve, I could see clearly what worked, what was holdng me back, and what t really takes - the energy channels opened and lfe was never the same. I ve come to realse that burnng out s a gft, These symptoms are a nudge that t s tme to change, self reflect and shed the old way of beng. It s tme to renvent yourself. When we hold onto old ways for fear of falure or rockng the boat, we suppress the lfe force wthn us that s lookng to expand our lfe (not shrnk t). 5 The Secret Here s the truth. The four steps I m gong to share wth you work for any of the symptoms I call the Bg 5: Fatgue, Anxety, Depresson, Weght Gan & Female Hormonal Problems. These symptoms are the result of burnng out, not the cause. The problem sn t somethng outsde of you. It s nsde us. That s the shft that makes all the dfference. These four steps wll help you buld a sold foundaton that boosts your energy systems and unleashes your lfe force. Ths s the renventon formula that has soldfed my place at the top of my ndustry. Ths formula has resulted n a clent database bult by word-of-mouth only from many many happy clents. 6 Step One Let s get Real! Most of our health and hormonal problems (Bg 5) are due to stress! In fact, 80-90% of llness s caused or exacerbated by stress Dr Mark Hyman. Not general stress ether, lke rushng from one meetng to another, havng lots on or jugglng your schedule. It s more than that. It s the knd of pervasve stress that slowly ebbs away at your soul. It sucks the lfe force out. It dsconnects you from the real (vbrant & strong) authentc you. It s not the lttle thngs that stress us out, but the bgger ones that we thnk we can t change. It s tme to fess up on what s not workng n your lfe. No one s lfe s perfect, ncludng mne. Lfe never goes as planned and there wll always be curveballs, challenges and traumatc events. We can t stop these, and we shouldn t waste our energy tryng. We need to learn how to handle these skllfully, gracefully and when we feel down, know how to bounce back quckly. And have a vbrant body that can carry us through t. Every challenge we have s an nvtaton to play n lfe dfferently. Every problem s an opportunty for change and growth (not falure). Wthout the dscomfort, we would NEVER change or step up. Then lfe would be monotonous and borng.

11 Changng your Lfe 101 Change can happen n ether 3 ways: 1. Wllpower: where you try to use sheer wll to overrde habts and make changes n your lfe. Unfortunately, we re compelled by our mnd to carry out behavours 2. Postve thnkng: change your thoughts to change your lfe, (e.g. cogntve behavoural therapy) helps by makng small ncremental changes over tme 3. Sprtual Change: the ultmate level of change. Rather than an ncremental shft on the horzontal plane, sprtual changes happens on the vertcal, creatng transformaton - changng our experence of everythng. Ths happens through nsghts that are avalable to us all the tme, under the rght condtons.

12 Step Two Fnd Your Passon! Passon s the most magnetc feature, and f you ve spent enough tme around those who are passonate - you know t s nfectous! Passon s the natural flow of creatve energy from wthn. If we re not feelng passonate, then there s a dsconnect. When many people thnk of exhauston, anxety or depresson, they see t as a bochemcal mbalance that needs correctng. Whle t s mportant to support the body, calm the nervous system, balance bran chemstry, support the adrenal glands, I ve seen somethng work even more powerfully: PASSION! I ve seen women turn hgh states of anxety nto creatve potental, go from exhausted to motvated by fndng ther passon and usng t recreate ther lves, become artsts, take an adventure, follow ther callng, transformng themselves and ther relatonshps. Passon s the antdote for burnout! Passon unleashes the lfe force nsde the body. It unblocks stagnant energy channels. Revves a tred system. Accordng to Joe, each of us are called to an adventure, a new path, a new lfe. When we gnore the call (and hold back) the postve energy gven to us to transform our lves, becomes negatve, leadng to anxety, stress & depresson. Try ths lttle thought experment out: If you could gve up your career today (and have all fnancal oblgatons taken care of), what would you do wth your tme over the next month? The next year? (t s okay f you want to do exaclty the same thng - but what would you do dfferently f you ddn t NEED the job?) If you weren t tryng to get anywhere (no goals or ladder to clmb), what would you do wth your tme? If you decded to make all your workng decsons based on your desres, passon, values. and joy factor, what would you choose to work on next? 14 One day a man went heaven, upon arrval he was greeted by a host of angels and gven a tour of all of heaven s wonders. Over the course of the tour, the man notced that there was one room the angels quckly glded past each tme. What s n that room the man asked. The angels looked at each other as f they d been dreadng the queston. We re not allowed to keep you out, but please beleve us - you don t want to go n there they repled. The man s mnd raced at the thought of what mght be contaned n that room. What could be so horrble that the angels of heaven would want to hde t away? He couldn t resst hs human urge to fnd out. Slowly walkng towards the room, the man was flled wth dread and wonder at what horrors mght be revealed. But n fact, the room was flled wth the most wonderful thngs magnable: a beautful home; nce thngs; great wsdom, a happy famly; lovng frends; and rches beyond measure. Eyes wde, the man turned back to the angels. But why ddn t you want me to come here? Ths room s flled wthe most amazng thngs I ve ever seen. The angels looked at each other sadly, then sad. These are all the thngs you were meant to have whle you were on earth, but you never beleved you could have them

15 Step Three Choose Yourself It s tme to take responsblty for you and not leave your wellbeng for when you have more tme, money, less stress, or whatever you feel needs to happen frst. Choose yourself THEN you get more tme, money, less stress and whatever else you want. Don t wat to make the frst move. Get the rght support DIY (Do t Yourself) s promoted everywhere today, but t doesn t yeld the real lfe changng results. We forget that we are relatonal bengs, and that support and care from another person s medcne too. I m all for takng charge of my lfe and dong what t takes, but I know I DON T know everythng, and don t want to waste my tme tryng to fgure t out. When I was startng my onlne busness, I got a coach. When I was gong through nner lfe changes, I got a sprtual healer. When I need my har done, I see my hardresser. When was the last tme you read a car mantenance book and then became the mechanc of your car? Well! t s the same wth our body, mnd and sprt. When we look to google or amazon to solve our problems, we learn pretty quckly that each of us s unque and what works for one person doesn t work for another. Your symptoms tell YOUR lfe story!

16 Step Three Heal yourself by gettng the rght support! The body s desgned to heal tself and t does ths everyday. Scence has even proven ths ablty as documented through the placebo effect. Women come to me wth a whole lst of thngs they thnk they need to be dong - go paleo, qut sugar, fun-free or bootcamp. Ths adds stress - I want don t want that for you! Honestly, t s the small shfts that make the bggest dfference. Our body's self-healng! But we can t do t alone Professor Ted Kaptchuk of Harvard Medcal was on a msson to fnd out why the placebo effect works so darn well; healng patents wthout medcne and of seemngly ncurable llnesses. He conducted a study that was a bt dfferent, he decded to tell patents that they were takng a placebo, that the pll they were prescrbed contaned absolutely no medcnal value. And... They stll got better!!! He concluded that the nurturng care of a health practtoner and the fact that the patents felt lke were dong somethng to help themselves, was enough to stmulate the healng systems wthn ther body, Whle t s great the browse the nternet or read books but at some pont takng the step and gettng the rght support from someone you trust could change your lfe. 17 Step Four Energy As Your Compass Most women I meet have so many thngs on ther to do lst, most of whch brng them lttle joy or exctement. They are should do s & must do tems for work, famly, kds, partner or others. Our energy comes not only through food, ar and oxygen, but through the thngs that lght us up! They are soul vtamns. If we don t fll ourselves us on the thngs that brng us joy, then we starve our sprt - the energy behnd all of lfe. There are always thngs that fre us up or those that dran us. It s mportant to dentfy where you stand, then you can choose where you want to spend most of your tme. Your choces wll dctate your energy. Instead of changng careers, runnng for the hlls, track your energy over the course of the day, then over the week. See f you can come up wth at least 10 tems for each. The tems that energse wll be those thngs whch noursh your body and soul. Include these everyday, just lke you would a mult-vtamn. Untl you value yourself, you won't value your tme.
