1 Aociate of Science in Criminal Jutice Program Miion It i the miion of the Criminal Jutice program to prepare, educate, and train tudent for the Criminal Jutice profeion. Criminal Jutice graduate will be lifelong learner who poe current technical knowledge of the criminal jutice ytem, communication kill to communicate effectively within the criminal jutice ytem, and an undertanding of the interrelation of the criminal jutice profeional and ociety. Program Decription Thi program i deigned to addre training requirement for tudent eeking employment a police officer, marhal, conervation officer, Guam Cutom officer, invetigator, correction officer, forenic computer examiner, forenic lab technician, and other public afety employee. Student may chooe an emphai in one of four area of concentration: 1. Adminitration of Criminal Jutice 2. Law Enforcement Adminitration. Forenic Lab Technician. Forenic Computer Examiner Some coure in thi program mut be equenced becaue of prerequiite requirement. Other coure, including Mathematic and Englih, require placement teting before enrollment i granted. (See a Criminal Jutice advior before enrolling in thi program or chooing elective.) Program Student Learning Outcome (SLO): Upon ucceful completion of the AS in Criminal Jutice program, tudent will be able to: 1. Identify the legal procedure for gathering information about crime, criminal procedure, and defendant right. 2. Decribe the proce of the criminal jutice ytem including the dutie and reponibilitie of the criminal jutice profeional a it pertain to one of the choen concentration area: Adminitration of CJ, Law Enforcement Adminitration, Forenic Lab Technician, or Forenic Computer Examiner..
