1 DUAL ENROLLMENT TRANSFER CREDIT GUIDE between HARFORD COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS HARFORD COMMUNITY COLLEGE SCHOOL YEAR Early college admission allows students to be dually enrolled attend their high school Harford Community College (HCC) concurrently. Students may enroll in HCC credit courses may be able to use these courses for high school graduation requirements. Upon successful completion of the HCC course, the final grade is transferred to meet Harford County Public Schools () graduation requirements, recorded on the high school transcript, calculated as part of the official high school grade point average. Students Families: All courses intended to meet specific graduation requirements must receive prior approval from the Office of Middle High School Performance. Please see your School Counselor if the course you are interested in is not listed in the Transfer Guide. School Counselors: Contact the Office of Accountability if a desired course name number are not available in the Transfer Guide. 1

Students may enroll in the course to earn high school graduation credit. This course does not meet Harford Community College graduation requirements. Course Number for Algebra II MATH 021 Pre MATH 022 Liberal Arts Track I MATH 023 Liberal Arts Track II MA2701 HCC Trans Math (HCC Transitional Math ) All students must take the HCC Placement Test register for Math 021 through HCC. In order to register for HCC Math 022, students must earn a C or better in Math 021. Students who do not earn a C or better in Math 021 will remain in the year-long course. Students in MA2701 earn 1 mathematics credit if they pass the course with a D or better. 7
