2 CLINICAL EXPERIENCE: : Worked as Senior Resident in Department of Anaesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Management, King George s Medical University, Lucknow from July 2007 to December 2010 and Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow from January 2011 to June During Senior Residency, administered Anaesthesia independently / under supervision for various adult and pediatric patients posted for General Surgery, Orthopedic, Pediatric, Obstetrics-Gynecology, Urology, Plastic, Neuro, Cardio Thoracic Surgeries and Trauma : Worked as a Registrar in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care during post-graduate training from Dr Sardar Patel Medical College, a major teaching Hospital in Bikaner, India. Examined and evaluated new patients in the pre-admission (PAC) and pain clinics. Attended various Cardiac arrest and CPR calls. Attended calls for traumatic emergencies in trauma centre like difficult intubation, shock, cervical spine fracture, pain management in trauma etc. Performed pain management procedures for acute and chronic pain, cervical epidural, lumbar epidural, caudal epidural, lumbar sympathectomy, coeliac plexus block, stellate ganglion block etc. Coached, trained and supervised anaesthesia residents, medical students, nursing staff, and paramedics in the ward as well as the operating theatre. 3 Got the prestigious Hans Raj Nayyar award, for best research paper presentation: Tumor necrosis factor gene polymorphism predisposes development of Sepsis & Septic Shock in Annual Conference of Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine 2012 at Pune. Ongoing intramural research projects are: 1) Role of neuromuscular monitoring for the judicious use of neuromuscular blockers and the reversal agents. (Project Completed). 2) Continuous Fascia Iliaca Compartment Block for post-operative pain relief in above knee surgeries. (Project near completion). 3) Inferior Vena Cava compressibility index as a predictor of hypotension during Spinal Anaesthesia. (Project near completion).
