7 Core Focus Main trends in health condition of elderly Health and functional condition of new generations of elderly steadily improving Disability shift from total disability to partial disability Universal design and new technologies can minimalize mild disability Tackling the dementia epidemic causing disability in the elderly will require special services

9 Evaluation Participants were satisfied with the Programme All participants expressed better knowledge and access to information on ageing related topics following the program Suggestions and comments: More space for discussion and exchange of experience Establishing network among participants for sharing comprehensive information and exchanging experiences
10 Conclusion Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in the CR disseminated the presentations to relevant faculties of Universities in Czech Republic and Slovakia Republic Ministry will consider outputs from the Training Programme for creation of new National Programme of Preparation for Ageing for
