5 INTERNAL MEDICINE AND PULMONOLOGY INTERNAL MEDICINE Internal medicine at JTS Medical Centre includes both preventative and disease-management options for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiac and metabolic disorders. PULMONOLOGY Our experienced consultant treats a wide range of pulmonary conditions, including asthma, acute and chronic pulmonary diseases, bronchiectasis, tuberculosis, pneumonia and interstitial lung disease. Investigations offered include Pulmonary Function Testing and Fiber Optic Bronchoscopy, Tube Thoracostomy, Needle Thoracentesis, Pleural Biopsy, Trans Bronchial Lung Biopsy, and Sleep Studies. 5

UROLOGY With a focus to diagnose and treat male and female genitourinary conditions, the department ensures individuals receive appropriate treatment for their conditions. Specialist services include investigation and treatments for prostate cancer, bladder, kidney and testicular disorders, treatment of kidney stones, erectile dysfunction and sexual health. 7

10 Dermatology DERMATOLOGY Our dermatologist is proficient in diagnosing and treating diseases of the skin, hair, nails and adjacent mucous membranes as well as treating medical conditions such as acne, warts and psoriasis. Our specialist uses evidencebased treatment techniques for a variety of skin conditions. We offer cryosurgery, the liquid nitrogen treatment of various conditions, including verrucae and skin lesions such as seborrheic keratosis and actinic keratosis. Comprehensive management of chronic conditions such as eczema and excision of pigmented and non-pigmented lesions is also offered. 10

11 OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY And PEDIATRICS OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY Providing women of all ages consultation and care, our gynecologist takes care of their needs and offers advice and reassurance. The Department provides antenatal care, post pregnancy care, pregnancy counseling, cervical cancer screening, HPV vaccination, and annual 'well-women' checkup, treatments for endocrine disorders, menstrual irregularity, menopause and associated conditions. PEDIATRICS Our pediatrician has expertise in handling newborn and pediatric problems, developmental assessment, managing asthma and allergy. VACCINATION CLINIC We provide a wide range of routine vaccination for both adult and children. OPTOMETRY SERVICES At JTS Medical Centre, optometric examination is an assessment performed by our optometrist that includes the following: computerized eye test, subjective refraction, retinoscopy, keratometry, prescription of spectacles, prescription of contact lenses and ongoing assessment of contact lenses. 14
