MSP Postpone action items 1 and 2 (change the number of members required for each delegate and minimum number of members to qualify for representation in the House of Delegates)
5 from the Ways and Means Committee meeting until the October Board of Governors meeting. MSP Be it resolved that the California Veterinary Medical Association oppose any additional license(s) that would prohibit, restrict, and/or impinge on the practice of veterinary medicine as it is currently granted under the Veterinary Practice Act of the state of California. CVMA to write a letter to the California-Nevada Chapter of American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists (ARPAS) requiring them to exclude (exempt) veterinarians from any legislation that they propose.
