Duties include developing symposia topics and readings, organizing monthly meetings, and facilitating discussion among ~50 graduate students, interns, post-docs, and faculty at monthly meetings. Student faculty representative Summer 2014-current Department of Clinical and Health Psychology Serve as student representative at twice-monthly faculty meetings. Duties include attending and taking notes at all faculty meetings, serving as a liaison between the faculty and student body, and advocating for student needs. SERVICE POSITIONS Balance 180 Gymnastics Active Volunteer Summer 2014-current Gainesville, FL Local non-profit that integrates children with varying abilities through sports. Volunteers work one-on-one with the participating athletes, who have a range of disabilities including autism, down syndrome, ADHD, and cerebral palsy. Tu Nidito Children and Family Services Active Volunteer Fall 2011-Summer 2013 Tucson, AZ Local non-profit agency that provides support and grief services to children and families impacted by serious illness or death. Volunteer duties included: leading monthly support groups for terminally-ill 4-7 year-olds; weekly one-on-one in-home family support to a terminally ill 5-year-old.
