CDC Objective: Health Impact S.M.A.R.T. objectives Annual Progress Reports Attainable Challenging AND within reach Questions to ask: Can we get it done in the proposed timeframe? Do I understand the limitations and constraints? Can we do this with the resources we have? Is this possible? CDC Objective: States are required to demonstrate improvement in Health Impact objectives for at least 2 of 4 priority areas Reasonable Resources and skills to accomplish your goal Questions: Do I have the resources? Is it possible to achieve the objective? CDC Objective: CDC funds states/territories in order to reduce the burden of injury. States will establish at least 2 program interventions and 2 policy interventions to implement during funding. 7
