1 UNIT 12 Health Benefits of Fruits and Vegetables 매일과일과채소를섭취하는일은쉬운일은아닙니다. 과일과채소를유난히좋아하는사람이아니라면하루에필요한만큼챙겨먹는일은숙제처럼느껴질수있습니다. 우리는과일과채소가몸에좋다는것을알지만막상하루끝에오늘먹은것들을헤아려보면인스턴트나탄수화물들이제일많이떠오릅니다. 과일과채소에는비타민과식이섬유가많기때문에매일적당량을먹는다면몸을건강하게유지하는데도움이되는것은물론이고질병을예방하거나완화하는데도탁월한역할을합니다. 어떤과일과채소를먹어야할지선택하기가어렵다면색깔로선택해보세요! 건강한삶을위한가장쉽고도분명한방법일것입니다. Today s Article Broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, etc., these are just some of the fruits and vegetables kids struggle to eat. Adults, especially parents, know that kids should be bribed first before they eat some greens. However, in reality, even adults need a little bit of bribing just to eat healthy food. Grownups might think that there is no dire need to eat fruits and veggies every day. What they don t know is there are benefits in eating the right amount of these foods, especially as our bodies grow older.

2 According to experts, eating between 5-10 servings of fruits and veggies a day is already a challenge for some adults. So, how should we deal with the problem? An 80g per serving of fruits and veggies should be consumed in a day, for beginners. But, this alone won t get you to your goal. Knowing the right consumption and how it s connected to the benefits are more important. There are lots of unique qualities that fruits and vegetables can offer, and to help you eat them easily, I suggest you focus on their colors; Red fruits and veggies have fiber, vitamins A & C. Fiber keeps your bowel movements regular and cleans your gut. Orange have vitamin A, fiber, potassium, iron, and zinc. Potassium controls the hydration levels and straightens muscles Yellow have vitamins A & C, folic acid which prevents balding quickly and is good for pregnant mothers, and fiber.

3 Green have fiber potassium, vitamins A (which keeps your vision clear) & B. Blue/Purple have vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants which protects the cells from destruction. Fruits and veggies play a vital role in preventing or easing critical diseases. In cancer s case, if the objective is reducing its risk, green and orange veggies and fruits are a big help. Whatever your goal or objective is, eating healthy foods like fruits and veggies would help you improve your healthy lifestyle.
