5 National Indian Health Board Purpose: To advocate on behalf of all federally recognized American Indian and Alaska Native Tribes to ensure the fulfillment of the trust responsibility to deliver health and public health services as assured through treaties, and reaffirmed in legislation, executive orders and Supreme Court cases. Mission Statement: One Voice affirming and empowering American Indian and Alaska Native Peoples to protect and improve health and reduce health disparities. 5

12 Welcome Megan Reynolds, MPH, MDiv, serves as the Program Coordinator for the US Zika Pregnancy Registry on the Pregnancy and Birth Defects Task Force with CDC s 2016 Zika Response. Megan came to CDC in 2012 as an ORISE research fellow with the fetal alcohol syndrome Prevention Team in the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities. Megan provided subject matter expertise and technical assistance to multiple grantees working on various projects involving the prevention of fetal alcohol spectrum disorders through health education, health communication, and program implementation and evaluation. Megan also analyzed and managed policy-related requests for several issues within the Prevention Research Branch, including fetal alcohol spectrum disorders and early identification of autism and developmental disabilities. In 2015, Megan became the Surveillance Activity Deputy Lead for the Quarantine Epidemiology and Surveillance Team within the Quarantine and Border Health Services Branch in CDC s National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases. In this role she served as the Deputy Lead for Ebola Entry Screening Data Team for the Ebola Response. Prior to coming to the CDC, Megan worked as a project manager, developing and coordinating a program on perinatal hepatitis B prevention for the state of Georgia. She holds a BA in Religion and Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University and a Master of Public Health from Georgia State University. 12
