2 Welcome to the 31 days Classical Mat Pilates tutorial, This is an opportunity to learn 31matexercises that you can use anytime and anywhere. These videos are created to carefully guide your exercise execution to the point of being smooth, precise and effective. Free from equipment, the Mat Pilates gives you: 1. Freedom to exercise whenever and wherever you want. 2. Exercise habits to keep for life. Once you learn the exercises, they will stay in your mind. Short and sweet, each exercise will take you around 3 to 6 minutes, tops! And there is no reason that anybody could not put aside 5 minutes each time they feel the need to move Just pick your favorite exercise and practice. I hope that you are exited as I am. So to get started, I have created a few pointers that I think may help you through those 31days. Take a moment to scroll down and read the tips. All the best and remember to have fun. 3 Goal Settings What is your goal? Simple question enough, but hard to answer. Just brainstorm 5 things you would like to achieve but keep it honest, achievable, and time oriented.
4 How to get the most out of these 31days 1.What I have seen over the years from teaching many students is that two persons may be doing the same program but one will have faster result while the other not so much. That s because one student believes in it and is present whenever she is doing it. Which means she does her best every time and doesn't let her inner critics sabotage her effort. The other student lets her energy be sucked out by the following destructive thoughts like: I hate exercise I m never going to get there I m bored I m fat This is pointless Pilates is a mind-body connection exercise, which means that every time you are on your mat, that time is solely dedicated to you. So get organized and choose a time when you won t feel distracted, and make sure that you are not disturbed during the exercise. This way you will have a better experience and you will be able to stay focused and stay away from negative thoughts. All y" can do # y"r best 2. Try to avoid getting hung up on lose weight as your main goal, because these two little words can put a lot of pressure on you! And maybe yes, your goal is to lose weight but if this is your only goal, you will always live a life of yoyo dieting and sporadic exercising. Instead, support your main goal with other important goals, like staying healthy (having a healthy lifestyle), becoming stronger (you can lift groceries, carry your child, etc ), improving fitness, (you can go for long walks or other activities), being happy (doing things that you truly enjoy more often and being positive!). Remember to keep these goals measurable, achievable and time oriented, and most importantly - stay consistent. And soon you will see that all your goals, including the main goal, are starting to slowly but unstoppably materialize. %a& in a place of self love not hate
