2 Introduction This quick guide is created with the purpose of guiding user through the basic steps of setting up an order form in the 3shape Dental System with the Elos Accurate Hybrid Base products. 2

3 Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Kit order form In this guide we will create a restoration with Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Kit for the Astra Tech Implant System EV 4.2, an intra oral case with a digital model. In the upper right corner of 3shape Dental system main view, click on the order form icon. This will open the 3shape order form. Fill in relevant information and select the teeth for the case. Click on the Abutment icon Use the Category drop down list to select the ELOS - Hybrid Base Kit 3

4 With the System drop down list select the desired system, in this case the Astra Tech EV. Note: To enhance the usability of the Elos Accurate Library we have introduced an abbreviation system. The abbreviation is shown in brackets, informing of which category the different systems belong to. 5 Choose your prosthetic solution before adding the material; here we select a screw retained crown. Select a material file by hoovering over the green plus sign. By default all your installed material files are available in the Elos Accurate Library. 5

6 Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Kit order form IO case setup To setup the order form to support an Intra Oral scan file, we need to setup the Scan settings in the upper right hand corner of the order form. Select Digital impression in the Object type drop down list. Select the Antagonist + Occlusal alignment from the Antagonist drop down list 6

7 Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Kit order form Digital model To create a digital model with 3shapes Model Builder we need to set it up in the order form. The Elos Accurate Library comes with a 3shape Digital model design file with pre-defined 3D printer settings for use with the Elos Accurate Model Analog for local 3D print. Click on Model to activate digital model settings. Select settings such as sectioned model and/or dies. To enable the pre-defined settings the ELOS model material has to be selected. By hoovering over the green plus sign, select the ELOS model material from the Material drop down list. 7

8 By selecting the ELOS model material the pre-defined settings is activated by default in the CAD settings drop down list. At this stage we have now entered all relevant information for this case and by clicking on the OK button the changes will be saved and the order form window closes. 8

9 Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Kit order form Import IO scan file After closing the order form window, right-click on the order just created and select the Import Scan (1) option in the menu. (1) (2) Alternatively use the Advanced > Import (2) to import a 3 rd party scan file (3). (3) 9

10 Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Bridge order form In this chapter we will setup the 3shape order form for an Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Bridge 3 unit bridge on Astra Tech Implant System Uni Abutment EV 33. Repeat the same steps for filling in case information and scan settings as when creating an order form for Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Kit. Select both teeth as showed in below pictures. Click on Abutment and select the Astra Tech Implant System Uni Abutment EV 33. Select the Screw retained crown by clicking on the icon. 10

11 Select the middle tooth and click on Frame. Chose Pontic, make sure to use the same material as for abutment. 11

12 Select all teeth and click on Bridge. Select the Connector Bridge option, and select Silhouette from the drop down menu. 12

13 Hybrid Base Bridge order form Choose the same settings for the Model as in previous chapter for Hybrid Base Kit to setup the digital model. Continue the steps for import of an intra oral scan to begin the design. 13

14 Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Bridge order form Wax-up, teeth setup, copy bridge To create a screw retained bridge with Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Bridge, from a Wax-up bridge, a teeth setup or copying an old bridge. Mount the bridge in the Dental WAX-Up Bridge Fixture. Follow the same step as previous and enter the relevant case information. Select the teeth position, and click Abutment. 14

15 Select the desired system from the drop down menus as previously described. Click on the Waxup abutment icon. With all teeth still selected, click the Bridge option and click on the Waxup offset bridge icon. Select Waxup bridge from the drop down menu. The order form is now correctly filled in and the scanning process can be initiated by clicking Scan. 15
