1 Members Only ARE YOUR EMOTIONS MAKING YOU SICK? Theresa Dale, Ph.D., C.C.N. President The Wellness Center for Research & Education, Inc. Emotions and Illness Your resisted emotions live in the corresponding organ to each emotion according to the five element system. You may or may not be aware that these emotions/belief system exist. The identities that anchor them also anchor disease. What is Stress? STRESS is the uncomfortable gap between... a) how we would like our life to be and b) how it actually is If this gap is persistent and growing - despite our efforts to reduce it - then our distress becomes acute taking such forms as... Anxiety (thyroid-adrenal); fear (kidneys); depression and/or despair (stomach); Anger, frustration, rage (liver); resentment (gallbladder); bladder (pissed-off); grief (lungs); vulnerable (small intestines); overwhelmed (heart); STUCK (colon); Unresponsive/denial (pituitary). 2 3
2 So? What should I do? This means that disease will manifest where the resisted emotion is stored. If you take medication it will only drive it deeper making it harder to release; meaning it will take longer and be more intense. Therefore, I suggest that you deliberately surface emotions and belief system, and use the Meta Wellness Self Healing Program to heal your body. It works! Stressors are connected to Emotions and.. Your belief system and identities. A belief system is a thought or an idea and an identity is a persona/a person you believe you are. Stress (roughly the opposite of relaxation) is a medical term for a wide range of strong external stimuli, both physiological and psychological, which can cause a physiological response called the general adaptation syndrome, first described in 1936 by Hans Selye in the journal Nature. a basic human survival mechanism left over from our primordial 'roots' when we could best respond to perceived dangers by either fighting or fleeing; now in modern civilization we are fighting traffic not tigers. Identifying Stressors! Overall wellness is effected by the mind & our perceptions. Your genetic blueprint can shape your physical wellness and stress levels. Stress is caused by resisted emotions, belief systems and identities. Emotional symptoms can be caused or worsened by a disease process
3 What Does Stress Cause? All disease Pre-menopause Menopause Hot flashes Mood swings Weight gain Depression Hair loss Constipation Transforming Stress! Lets think of your body as a computer. There is hardware and software. Redesigning Your Biological Computer (hardware) This effects our emotions (software) and our overall wellness. Rejuvenating the endocrine computer using homeopathy and a healthy lifestyle along with balancing the autonomic nervous system. (hardware) Balancing all hormones, neurotransmitters Stress & Your Health Cortisol -The new diet buzzword Cortisol is a hormone produced by your adrenal glands. Cortisol production is affected by how you handle and interpret stress. High levels of cortisol can create excessive abdominal fat. Excess abdominal fat may increase chances of diabetes and heart disease. Studies suggest cortisol levels may be a predictor of fractures for older adults. Dieting, which may cause stress for most of us can actually increase cortisol levels
4 High Cortisol continued Causes Fatigue Weight Gain Depression High and low cortisol can also effect. a burdened immune system Cortisol imbalances can be related to Thyroid dysfunction. Weight Gain Women experience weight gain around the abdomen after 40 years of age. This can be hormone related and more specifically adrenal cortisol burnout. Weight Loss: NuFem Five Element Saliva Test Adrenal support Meridian Balance Cardiovascular / aerobic exercise at least 3 times weekly Diet consisting of mostly raw foods. Emotional Support Whole Food Supplements Neurotransmitter Support Stress & Aging Biological Age Vs. Chronological Age. Organ health determines biological age. Genetic health history can be changed. Your adrenal cortisol levels are affected by stress and thus do not produce the correct amount of hormones
5 REDUCE BIOLOGICAL AGE Your Biological Age is equivalent to the health and age of your organs and glands. Detoxification is necessary to keep biological age low and organs healthy. Detoxification of heavy metals, hormones, dental materials, chemicals, preservatives, colorings, and drugs. Lowering the Biological Age depends on the following and the health of your endocrine system. Diet Drugs Genetic Autonomic Nervous System; Neurotransmitters; Subluxation (see a Chiropractor) Dental (root canals, abscesses, amalgams, periodontial health) Scar Tissue Environmental Toxins Emotional / Mental Health Electromagnetic (EMF) and/or Geopathic Disturbances Stress and Your Hormones! What are hormones? Hormones are messengers that tell your body how to feel physically and emotionally The only hormones that are TRULY NATURAL are produced by our body! Hormone balance and aging is NOT related to how old you are - but how healthy you are Homeopathy Dr. Samuel Hahnemann Founder of Homeopathy 200 years and millions of practitioners have verified homeopathy. A remedy is made according to the procedure of dilution and succussion. A substance is dissolved in an alcohol/water solution called a tincture. Then one drop of the tincture is diluted into from 9 to 99 drops of 40% alcohol/water solution. This solutions is firmly succussed (pounded & shaken) 100 times. One drop of this dilution is then added to from 9 to 99 drops of fresh alcohol/water. Then succussed 100 more times. This procedure can be continued again and again, with each dilution increasing the therapeutic effect and the potency
