Q&A for Algaea-X 1. What is Algaea-X? Algaea-X is a topical cream developed to help relieve pain and inflammation caused by arthritis and helps the regeneration of damaged cartilage. Developed by utilizing some of the latest biotechnology of the United States, Japan, and South Korea, Algaea-X is an unprecedented topical product that contains SEANOL TM, a novel material clinically demonstrated to effectively improve the metabolism of joints and relieve pain and inflammation associated with them. 2. What are the ingredients of Algaea-X? Algaea-X s key component is SEANOL TM, an extract from brown seaweed. It also contains Portulaca Oleracea extract, willow-bark extract, and other natural extracts, as well as ingredients commonly used for high-quality cosmetic products, all of which are safe and free of side effects including subsequent skin problems. 3. How does Algaea-X work? Arthritis is characterized by inflammation in the cartilage that damages the tissue and causes pain by provoking the surrounding nerves. In order to effectively and fundamentally treat arthritis, it is important not only to simply relieve pain but also to reduce inflammation and stimulate blood circulation and cellular function around the inflamed area. Especially in the case of degenerative arthritis, the ability to protect and maintain the cartilaginous tissue is weakened. Activation of blood circulation around the tissue is essential to the process of healing. Absorbed through the skin, Algaea-X reduces pain, removes the root cause of inflammation, and improves blood circulation, thus revitalizing the cells around the cartilaginous tissue. It is an unprecedented and comprehensive approach to effectively treat arthritis. 4. Can Algaea-X alleviate the fundamental conditions of arthritis? Algaea-X immediately removes inflammation and promotes regeneration of damaged or degenerated cartilage and joints, thus restoring normal joint functions within two to three months at which point application of Algaea-X may be stopped. If the joints are damaged again later due to stress or degeneration, reapplying Algaea-X will help repair the damage in a short period.
5. After using Algaea-X, when can I expect to feel its effects? Generally, users will feel its healing effects within two to three days. For patients with minor pain in their joints or in the early stage of arthritis, using Algaea-X will quickly improve their conditions, allowing them to carry out normal daily activities without difficulty within two weeks. Fundamental healing of arthritis will require approximately two months or more of treatment depending on the severity of the arthritis. 6. Is Algaea-X effective for rheumatoid arthritis as well? Rheumatoid arthritis is caused by an overly active immune system and usually requires longer treatment periods than degenerative arthritis. However, Algaea-X will effectively relieve pain in light to moderate conditions of rheumatoid arthritis. Unlike existing products intended for rheumatism treatment, Algaea-X has no side effects and is safe for long-term use. In the case of serious rheumatoid arthritis, using Algaea-X along with our dietary product, SEANOL TABLET, will facilitate carrying out everyday activities without difficulty within a short period of time. 7. Why and how was Algaea-X made? Algaea-X was developed for the express purpose of effective removal of inflammation and restoration of damaged cells, in the affected joint and its associated tissue, in order to relieve pain from arthritis, frozen shoulder and tennis (or golf) elbow. Its development is based on 10 years of research on the novel material extracted from brown seaweed, which has the ability to both inhibit inflammation and revitalize cellular function. It was designed to take effect immediately through skin absorption, without any side effects. Because it does not contain analgesic chemicals (e.g. menthol or aspirin-based painkillers), Algaea-X treats arthritis without any resulting liver toxicity or other side effects. 8. After using Algaea-X for about a week, why does the pain seem to worsen? For some small percentage of patients (5-10%), severe inflammation can lead to malfunction of the nerve tissues that sense pain. Once Algaea-X has restored the nervous system, by removing inflammation and swelling around the joints, you may initially feel more intense pain due to the system s re-sensitization. However, this is actually a good sign in that it signifies the beginning of the fundamental
healing process. This symptom (elevated pain) will disappear within a week, and the general pain will mostly be relieved within two weeks allowing you to carry out daily activities without difficulty. Patients for whom a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) indicates a complete loss of cartilage are advised to use Algaea- X along with SEANOL TABLET. 9.How does Algaea X reduce pain within 30 minutes of using Algaea-X? Severe inflammation or swelling puts the nervous system under stress and leads to secretions that sense pain. This is a spontaneous healing process in which the body sends signals to prevent further cellular damage and promote restoration. Unlike existing analgesic drugs that simply numb the pain, Algaea-X immediately reduces the pain-signaling process and starts the restoration process by removing the root cause of pain and activating cellular function in the tissues in the joint. 10. What is the clinical evidence for Algaea-X s effectiveness? A six-week clinical study has produced astonishing results: patient responses indicated over 30% more effectiveness in relieving pain than the current leading arthritis medication, significantly more ease in conducting daily activities, and no side effects. Using Algaea-X resulted in reduced pain, as well as fundamental improvements in joint functions and range of motion. It was also shown to be an effective treatment for frozen shoulder, elbow pain, tendonitis, and other inflammation-associated diseases or conditions. 11. How often should I use Algaea-X? Normal use is three times per day. Apply around the painful areas and gently massage. For knees and other joint areas, massaging while applying the cream helps improve blood circulation around the inflamed site. With no side effects, Algaea-X can be applied as often as needed, especially in the case of repeated and/or severe pain. 12. What is SEANOL TM inside Algaea-X? SEANOL TM is a marine polyphenol extracted only from specific pure brown seaweed growing near Jeju Island, South Korea. It is significantly different from the more commonly known polyphenols contained in green tea or red wine. SEANOL TM has various functions, such as lowering inflammation, promoting blood circulation, and protecting joint cells. A Korean biotech company,
Livechem, Inc has the exclusive right to the patented technology for extracting this marine polyphenol. Produced with the latest biotechnology, SEANOL040 TM with its unique efficacies has already been recognized by international corporations in the United States and Japan. 13. Is Algaea-X effective for all types of arthritis? Commonly, there are two types of arthritis: degenerative and rheumatoid. Degenerative arthritis, also called osteoarthritis, is often found in older patients. It usually occurs in areas that are under a lot of weight and stress, like the knee, hip, and spinal joints, where the cartilage covering the ends of bones is worn out, causing pain and swelling. Rheumatoid arthritis is caused by an imbalance in the immune system, which leads to chronic inflammation in the joint, swelling, pain, and stiffness. For both types of arthritis, Algaea-X effectively relieves pain and helps retain smooth joint movements, as measured using the WOMAC (Western Ontario and McMaster Universities) Index of Osteoarthritis. 14. Is it OK for diabetes patients to use Algaea-X? Algaea-X is a topical cream applied onto the skin and does not contain any ingredients that affect the blood sugar level, so it is safe for diabetics, as well. 15. Does Algaea-X have any side effects? Algaea-X is made of natural seaweed extracts, herbal extracts and other skinfriendly cosmetic ingredients, and has no side effects. Because it is directly applied onto the inflamed area, its effects are delivered quickly without the side effects that often accompany the use of dietary or other ingested medications. 16. Does Algaea-X work for osteoporosis, too? Osteoporosis is fundamentally different from arthritis in that it is caused by the gradual weakening of bones due to decrease female hormones, in particular, or to be aging. However, Algaea-X basically has anti-aging/antioxidant and cellular activation functions, which, in general, can effectively help the body with the spontaneous healing process. 17. Does Algaea-X regenerate cartilage? Degenerative arthritis (osteoarthritis) is the most common type of arthritis and is
often found in patients of age 50 and over. Because the cartilage gets worn out and eventually lost, patients with degenerative arthritis can feel the pain in joint areas and typically stiffness in the morning. During our clinical studies, the participating patients experienced reduced pain over time, as well as less and less frequent need to use Algaea-X. Some participants, who had been unable to walk due to severe cartilage damage, recovered enough to be able to carry out normal everyday activities. These observations demonstrate that Algaea-X removes inflammation and restores cartilage, functions, which are well explained by previous scientific research on the biological effects of SEANOLTM. 18. Is there any scientific evidence for the efficacy of Algaea-X? Figure: Osteoarthritic model experiment (knee cartilage tissues of rabbit) Normal cartilage Osteoarthritic cartilage Cartilage treated with SEANOL040 TM under osteoarthritic condition In clinical studies, Algaea-X quickly alleviated inflammatory symptoms such as pain and swelling which remarkably improved the daily lives of the patients. Some noticeable observations included fast recovery of patients who suffered from: - Difficulty in walking due to fractured cartilage - Severe swelling and pain due to abnormal liquid accumulation in knee joint - Difficulty and pain in standing-up These observations of recovery via the effects of SEANOLTM, the key ingredient of Algaea-X, are well explained in an osteoarthritic model experiment using rabbit cartilage (see Figure above).
19. Is Algaea-X beneficial to young people (20~30 of age) who have pains in knee? However young one is, if she/he is in a position where her/his joints are frequently overworked (such as an athlete or a worker who has repetitive physical motions), her/his joints are susceptible to injury or wearing-out. These conditions share many things in common with degenerative arthritis. Algaea-X is therefore very useful in such cases where fast recovery is crucial, regardless of age. 20. Can Algaea-X help prevent arthritis in middle-aged women? Post-menopausal women, especially in their fifties are susceptible to the progression of osteoarthritis. Many of them may well be in the early stage of arthritis in which there is no recognizable pain. Symptoms such as stiffness or numbness around the joint and coldness in hands and feet may precede arthritis. Algae-X can effectively be used for recovery in these situations. Women near menopause, that experience abnormality or pain in knees or hips, are advised to consult a doctor for possible osteoarthritis. Algaea-X is especially useful when there is some undefined abnormality around joints, without particular pain (a condition which raises concerns of possible arthritis), because the product prevents osteoarthritis by neutralizing the arthritic risk factors and restoring the compromised metabolism to the joint. 21. Is Algaea-X effective when used in the late stage of osteoarthritis? It is very hard to expect a restoration of cartilage in the late stage of osteoarthritis where completely worn-out cartilage is observed due to significant deformation of the joint. However, it is advised to use the product as often as possible because it helps with the alleviation of inflammation and pain in a safe and natural way. It is especially effective when used in combination with SEANOL TABLET to minimize the pain and maintain an active daily life. 22. Is there any dietary product related with Algaea-X? There is a dietary product called SEANOL TABLET which is made of a key ingredient called SEANOL extracted from brown seaweed. Algaea-X used on the affected area together with taking SEANOL TABLET facilitates the healing effect. SEANOL TABLET removes arthritis-causing substances in the blood to prevent further deterioration of the affected tissue, which substantially supports
Algaea-X s effect in healing of the joint tissue. 23. Is Algaea-X safe? Algaea-X is a topical cream made of herbal extracts as the major ingredients. The key ingredient SEANOL TM is extracted from a brown seaweed that has been eaten in Asian countries for centuries. Other major ingredients such as Portulaca Oleracea extract and willow-bark extract are all safe herbal products with established safety based on use by large segments of the US population as well as by toxicity studies. 24. Should any current medications be stopped during use of Algaea-X No. You can keep using your current medication together with the use of Algaea-X. You should not discontinue use of prescribed medication without consulting first with your doctor. However, one thing to note is that, once your life gets easier/more manageable with relief of pain as a result of using Algaea- X, you can consider reducing or quitting current medication after consulting with your doctor. 25. Is there any special caution in using Algaea-X? No. If you are concerned about any potential issues due to extremely sensitive skin, please request related information and advice from us prior to use. 26. Is it necessary to use Algaea-X at least 4 weeks to realize its effect? In most cases, Algaea-X manifests its benefit in 30min. However, according to clinical studies some patients (10%) who were slow in recognizing its effect, or even experienced more pain in the early phase, successfully experienced reduced pain and improved mobility after continued use of the product for two to three weeks. In particular, patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis are advised to take SEANOL TABLET together with Algaea-X to achieve faster pain relief, because rheumatoid arthritis additionally requires improvement in immune balance for effective treatment. In cases where there is no improvement after two months of continued use, it is advised to consult one s doctor. 27. Does Algaea-X cause any difficultly in sleep? Generally, arthritic patients may have difficulty in sleep due to pain. A small percentage of patients may feel more pain in the early phase of using Algaea-X,
and may have some temporary difficulty in sleep. However, with continued use, this early-phase pain usually subsides and results in better sleep than before. In Algaea-X, there is no substance like caffeine which affects sleep. 28. Is Algaea-X safe for pregnant women and children? Yes. Algaea-X is a topical cream made of major Ingredients such as SEANOL040 TM, Portulaca Oleracea extract, willow-bark extract which are all natural products with established safety based on scientific studies. 29. What do joints look like? Joints are body parts where two or more bones contact each other. The contacting area in the end of a bone is covered by a soft lubricant substance called cartilage that absorbs mechanical shocks and simultaneously provides ease of mobility. 30. Is it possible to completely cure arthritis? Current medicine cannot effectively treat arthritis without side effects. And there is no known complete cure. Even the most representative anti-inflammatory drug called Celebrex (Pfizer), which is prescribed for temporary suppression of arthritic inflammation and pain, must reveal its adverse effects, such as heart attack and ulcers, in its marketing. By contrast, Algaea-X can, without any side effects,
alleviate pain via the fundamental removal of both causes and symptoms of inflammation resulting in natural healing over the long run. 31. Can Algaea-X prevent the recurrence of arthritis? Even after a recovery from arthritis, it can always recur due to many factors including aging, genetic trait, life style, being overweight, and overuse of joints. However, it is possible to prevent or minimize its recurrence by using Algaea-X provided you recognize and address other abnormal symptoms associated with these factors. 32. Who should use Algaea-X? Those who suffer from: - Osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis - Pain due to tendonitis - Pain due to frozen or stiff shoulder - Frequent muscle pain 33. Is Algaea-X also effective in treating neuralgia and frozen shoulder? It is well known by doctors that there is no effective remedy for these inflammation-associated symptoms. They are mostly treated with analgesic drugs only to provide temporary numbing effect with little recovery from inflammation and often with many side effects. However, Algaea-X lowers the pain with fast, safe and fundamental recovery of the affected tissue by synergistic effects resulting from three mechanisms: lowering inflammation, activation of cellular function around the inflamed area and removal of inflammatory causes. This substantially differentiates Algaea-X from other analgesic drugs.
