Mouse ileectomy model to evaluate ileal resection-induced bile malabsorption, overaccumulation, and toxicity in animal or human intestine. 2. Mouse bile duct catheterization (BDC) model to constitutively collect the pure bile from conscious mice for proteomic or metabolomic analysis of mouse bile as a platform for various physio-pathological studies such as lipid and drug metabolism, and diagnosis and prognosis of human diseases like pancreatic and biliary tract cancers.
