C.1.1 Hearing Notices and Advertisements The June 28, 2017 public hearing was advertised in the San Mateo County Times, the San Jose Mercury News, and the San Francisco Chronicle. Those advertisements and proof of publication statements received from those newspapers are presented in Appendix B. It is 7:00 p.m. on 5 June 28th, and my name is Adrian Jones, and I'm going 6 to open the public hearing for the 14 CFR Part Study Update for San Francisco International Airport. 8 The 14 CFR Part 150 Study Update has two 9 parts: the Noise Exposure Maps Update as well as the 10 Noise Compatibility Program. The meeting this evening 11 is regarding the Noise Compatibility Program. This is 12 the fourth public workshop and first public hearing for this 13 study. 14 The purpose of this event is to allow the 15 general public to comment on the Draft Noise Compatibility 16 Program Report which was published in late May. 17 The other purpose of this meeting is to allow 18 people to review materials related to the study which 19 are up on boards around the room here at the Chetcuti 20 Meeting Room in Millbrae. 21 Comments will be accepted on the Draft Noise 22 Compatibility Program Report until July 7th. And they 23 can be submitted in writing. Information is provided 24 at the entrance along with the comment forms and other 25 items that we have for people to take home. 3 C-5

We will be accepting comments tonight. 6 We will not be responding to those comments tonight, but 7 we will be responding to those comments in our final 8 report. There will be responses to each and every 9 comment submitted tonight. 10 I would ask that people keep their comments to 11 three minutes in terms of duration. And that's 12 all I'm going to say.
