4 IMPLANT SYSTEM Key to implant codes Implants are coded with mnemonic codes that allow easy identification of the piece. 5 IMPLANT SYSTEM ZirTi surface CSR-DAT implants are available in ZirTi surface, characterized by sand-blasting with zirconium oxide and etching with mineral acids. 8 SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS Surgical kit The surgical kit of CSR-DAT implant system, designed for the maximum simplicity of use, contains all the instruments necessary for both surgical and prosthetic phases. The instrument categories are screen-printed on the tray to allow the user to identify each instrument during surgery and correctly replace it after cleaning and sterilization procedure. The kit contains dedicated drills for the preparation of both implant diameters, their respective depth stops and Easy Insert Drivers for the correct insertion of the fixtures. The kit consists of a Radel case with a surgical tray designed to hold and display instruments in a guided order of use. The sequences of the instruments to be used are indicated by coloured marks The kit contains a practical torque wrench to control the torque applied for the insertion of implants The compact dimensions of the case make it particularly practical for daily use and transport 8

20 PROSTHETIC COMPONENTS Healing abutments The healing abutments are made of Gr. 5 titanium and present an anatomical emergence profile. They must be tightened at a maximum of 10 Ncm, using the HSM screwdrivers series, whose full codes can be found on page 16. Healing abutments are also available with narrow profile, maintaining their diameter at 3.80/4.00 mm, useful in case of reduced interproximal space Healing abutments with regular profile have a diameter that opens out to 4.50 mm and allow excellent tissue reconditioning for the positioning of prosthesis with the same profile diameter Laser marking is located on the upper face of the healing abutment with a reference for the conical connection (with the code V ), and a three numbers code (in this example 453): the first two numbers refer to the coronal dimensions (in this example 45=4.50 mm), and the final number refer to the transgingival height (3= 3.00 mm transgingival height) Transgingival height: height measured from the implant connection platform to the head of the abutment Transgingival height 20

22 PROSTHETIC COMPONENTS Impression and model phase Components for impressions and models are manufactured with the same machines used to produce implants, ensuring a real guarantee of precision from the point of view of tolerance and fidelity in the reproduction of the clinical situation. Transfers Pick-up and closed-tray transfers are made of Gr. 5 titanium anodized according to the colour code of the reference implant diameter, facilitating the identification of the different fixtures that may be used. A PEEK cap is available for use with closed-tray transfers, allowing more precise impressions to be taken on them. 26 PROSTHETIC COMPONENTS SIMPLE temporary posts Temporary posts can be used in a conventional way after the bone healing period, or immediately after surgical insertion of the implants, if conditions for immediate loading are present. They can also be used as an alternative to the traditional healing abutments for soft tissues reconditioning, depending on the prosthetic protocols adopted. PEEK is an extremely strong biocompatible material, even though it can be easily milled at the chairside. The titanium base guarantees maximum connection precision. 28 PROSTHETIC COMPONENTS Pre-made posts Produced in Gr. 5 titanium, these posts are subjected to a controlled passivation process that changes their surface colour to a characteristic golden pale yellow colour. This colour is obtained through an oxidation process and, therefore, there is no type of coating, ensuring the use of a highly biocompatible surface. Pre-made posts for direct screwing are available, ideal for One-Abutment-One-Time protocols. They are also particularly useful for the stabilization of intraoral welding titanium bars for rehabilitations with immediate loading, because this technology guarantees the absolute immobility of both the prosthesis and the implant. The analogue of the post for direct screwing is anodized according to the colour code of the reference implant diameter. (Disparallel Screwed Prosthesis) P.A.D. system has been developed to facilitate the realization of multiple screw-retained prostheses even in presence of divergent implants and disparallel prosthetic emergence axes. In particular, P.A.D. angled abutments are simple and predictable solutions for implants positioned with an extreme inclination in distal saddles. P.A.D. system is characterized by its great versatility, including a wide range of straight abutments (available in various transgingival heights, from 1.00 mm to 4.00 mm), angled abutments (available with inclinations of 30 and 17 ) and a complete line of components necessary for the production of over-structures (transfers, analogues, sleeves, etc). D.P.F. components have been specifically developed to create a castable absolutely passive resin structure directly in the oral cavity, not restricted by connection geometries, without imprecisions due to the taking of impression and the development of the model. The metal truss intraoral cementation obtained subsequently by casting makes it possible to reduce insertion times for a reinforced temporary prosthesis to 8 hours after the completion of surgery, at the same time conserving all the important requirements of resistance and passivity during the initial phase of implant loading. The temporary structure thus created can also be used as a position template for the production of the definitive prosthesis.
