The standard is available in 0.5, 3 or 5mm height. The contoured is available in either 3 or 5mm height. The gingival emergence of implant restorations can now be ideally shaped to replicate the lost natural dentition. A natural gingival emergence is created through the tissue with the wide profile contoured healing caps. The corresponding expanded impression copings are then used to relate implant relationship and access emergence to master model. 3 Direct To The Implant Select Engaging Impression Coping UCLA ENGAGING IMPRESSION COPING (IC) The UCLA engaging titanium impression copings fit the implant directly and include both the coping and 2 guide pins (long & short) either Uni-Torx or.050" hex. The mm and the mm are available in 2 collar widths: standard and flared. The flared collars correspond to healing cap diameters. The 5.0mm IC collar width is 6mm and the 6.0mm IC collar width is 6.5mm. To create complete casting around the gold cylinder it is recommended to add extra thickness of wax and reduce after casting. The gold cylinders, available in 3 diameters, have plastic color coded extensions that are ribbed to facilitate wax build-ups. 7 Direct To The Implant Titanium Bases for Zirconia Abutments TITANIUM BASES FOR ZIRCONIA ABUTMENTS The new Titanium Base for custom-made zirconia abutments includes a plastic waxing sleeve that can be contoured with wax or composite and then scanned. State-of-the-art CAD/CAM technology is used to manufacture the zirconia abutments that are cemented to the titanium bases. The assembled abutment has the dual advantage of a machined titanium close-tolerance fitting surface with the implant and with the titanium retaining screw. The natural tooth colored zirconia custom abutment provides the ultimate in crown and bridge aesthetics. 11 Dalla Bona & ORS Overdenture Attachments OVERDENTURE STUD TYPE ATTACHMENTS Three types of overdenture attachments are most commonly used to directly screw into the implant the Dalla Bona, the ORS, (O-Ring system) and the Locator (listed on separate page).
