Piotr Majewski, D.D.S., PhD He is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine/Department of Dentistry, Jagiellonian University Medical College (CMUJ) in 1992.

3 Piotr Majewski, D.D.S., PhD He is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine/Department of Dentistry, Jagiellonian University Medical College (CMUJ) in He continu - ed his studies at the University of Melbourne (Australia) and through training at various implantology centers (USA, Sweden, Italy, Switzerland and Germany). He is an II Degree Specialist in dental surgery. In 2003 he was awarded a PhD based on his many years of clinical observations of tooth implants as abutments for prosthetic restorations. Since 2004 he has been Head of the Department of Implantology at the Institute of Dentistry, the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Krakow as well as Director of the CEIA (Central European Implant Academy). From he was an assistant at the Maxillo-Facial Surgery Clinic, UJ Medical College, and later in he was an assistant at the Department of Dental Surgery at CMUJ and in the Department of Prosthodontics at the Institute of Dentistry of CMUJ. He is member of OSIS and the European Association of Osseointegration EAO. He has 20 years of experience in implanto - logy acquired in many centers and in his own practice, in which he makes use of various implant systems. He is currently working on a number of research projects on the of in the surface of implants on the -osse ointegration process in cases of immediate implant procedures with simultaneous immediate loading of implants with prosthetic structures. He mainly specializes in tissue regeneration techniques, aesthetic prosthetic restorations on implants and immediate loading of implants. For the last years he has taught courses in advanced implant surgery procedures and implant-based prosthetics at the Central European Implant Academy (CEIA) and at his own Implant-Dental Clinic. He has delivered dozens of speeches and presentations on implan - tology both in Poland and abroad (Great Britain, Switzerland, Israel, the Czech Republic, South Africa and USA) and is the author of dozens of publications on implantology and tissue regeneration in academic periodicals both in Poland and abroad.
