Dr Craig James MBBS (Hons), FRCPA, AACD Dr Craig James s principal interests are dermatopathology and head & neck pathology. He is a member and past president of the Australasian Dermatopathology Society, International Academy of Pathology, and International Society of Dermatopathology. Associate Fellowship of the Australian College of Dermatology was awarded in Dr James continues to be involved on the executive of the Australasian Dermatopathology Society, is a past examiner for the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia and a current examiner for the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He has also been on committees responsible for developing guidelines on pathology reporting of melanoma (NHMRC), synoptic reporting of melanoma (RCPA) and protocols for cutting up skin pathology specimens (RCPA). Dr Anna Simpson MBBS, FRCPA, Dip Derm RCP Dr Anna Simpson joined Adelaide Pathology Partners in early 2005, after working for several years as a consultant at SouthPath, FMC. She graduated in 1987, completed specialist training in anatomic pathology in 1997 and obtained a Diploma of Dermatopathology through the British Royal College in Dr Simpson has a broad general experience with a particular interest in dermatopathology, breast pathology, gynaepathology, head & neck pathology and FNA cytopathology. She held a VMO position at BreastScreen SA for many years, presents regularly at inter-disciplinary meetings and is also actively involved in registrar training. In addition, she has coordinated the Australian Dermatopathology Slide Club for several years. Dr Simpson is a member of IAP, ADS, ASC and ASBD. A/Professor David Ellis MBBS, FRCPA A/Prof David Ellis currently represents Australasia on the IAP International Executive Committee. He has led the introduction of structured pathology reporting for cancer into Australasia, first as the inaugural chair of the National Structured Pathology Reporting for Cancer Project under the RCPA, Cancer Australia and Cancer Institute NSW, and now as President of the International Collaboration on Cancer Reporting (ICCR), which he also represents on the UICC TNM Staging Committee in Geneva. He represents the RCPA as inbound liaison to the Cancer Committee of the College of American Pathologists (CAP), USA. Having taken over as CEO of Clinpath in February 2015, A/Prof Ellis maintains an active interest in haematopathology and dermatopathology. Dr Jan Ibbetson MBChB, FRCPA Dr Jan Ibbetson is a medical graduate of the University of Otago and trained in anatomical pathology in Auckland, New Zealand. She came with her family to South Australia in Dr Ibbetson has worked in both private and hospital-based laboratories in Adelaide, subspecialising in dermatopathology. She has worked for SA Pathology for a number of years, and joined Clinpath Laboratories in Dr Ibbetson reports all skin and hair conditions, with a special interest in inflammatory skin conditions and alopecia. She teaches dermatopathology to pathology and dermatology trainees and is involved in skin cancer research. Dr Ibbetson is a member of the Australasian Dermatopathology Society (ADS). Dr Jonathan Allin MBChB, M Med Path, FRCPA Since 1997, Dr Jonathan Allin has worked at Sonic Healthcare laboratories in New Zealand and Australia, and joined Clinpath Laboratories in During this time, he has maintained a broad interest in general surgical pathology, cutaneous pathology and cytopathology. He is a member of the International Academy of Pathology, Australasian Division, and the Australasian Society of Cytology. Dr Allin has presented cases of interest at the annual scientific meeting of the IAP.

The audit provides participants with useful feedback about diagnostic accuracy, margin accuracy, suitability of surgical management types and comparisons of your provisional diagnoses compared to the histological diagnoses. As an independent program involving more than 3,700 participating general practitioners across an extensive national database, the surgical audit provides eligible participants with 40 category 1 RACGP QI and CPD points per audit (2 x 6 month time-intervals) and 30 PRPD and 30 Surgery MOPS points per triennium for an audit, plus additional core points are available for ACRRM doctors who complete further audits (2 x 6 month time-intervals) in the triennium.
