1 Tender Notice : GIKI/PO/Me-503/16 dated 1 st January 2016 Subject: Bids for Purchase of Medical equipment The Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute (GIKI) of Engineering Sciences and Technology, located at Topi, District Swabi is a seat of excellence in higher engineering education and research. The Institute needs to purchase the medical equipment for Medical Center located in the Institute. Terms and condition for the tender are: 1. Particulars: Detail of equipment to be purchased are given at annexure-i. 2. Quantity: Quantity to be purchased is mentioned against each item. However, the Institute have right to reduce/increase the quantity of any item OR delete any item. 3. Date for submission of the quotation: Bids in sealed envelopes, on prescribed tender documents should reach to the Procurement Department, GIK Institute Topi before 3:30 pm on 15 January 2016 and write our inquiry GIKI/PO/Me-503/16 on the top of the envelope. Open bids will not be accepted. 4. Tender opening date and venue: Tenders will be opened by the Procurement Committee in the presence of bidders at 4:00 pm on the same day (15 January 2016) in the Conference Room of H. U. Beg Administration Block, GIK Institute, Topi, District Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 5. Prices /Rates: Please quote unit price for each item, on FOR Topi basis, inclusive of all taxes, transportation, loading and unloading. 6. Validity of the price: Bids should remain valid for two months from the date of submission of bids. 7. Bid Security: Bidders are required to enclose the call deposit of Rs.50,000 (refundable) through demand draft/pay order payable to GIK Institute, and to be attached with biding document.

Mode of Payment: Payment will be made to the successful supplier on submission of your bill in duplicate through crossed cheque within two weeks after acceptance of the materials at GIK Institute subject to deduction of taxes as per law. 9. Delivery period: Please mention the delivery time after placing the Purchase Order. 10. Penalty clause: If supplier fails to supply the material in the above specified period, GIK Institute reserves the right to blacklist the bidder for future business or forfeit the security money Or impose 0.32% per day of the contact value or may impose any other financial penalty as deemed fit. 11. Please sign and stamp each page of the tender/bid document; otherwise, it will not be considered / accepted. 12. Please provide the company profile with bidding documents. Please also attaché the list for supply of medical equipment / accessories during last three (3) years to the reputable organization/ institute/company etc (Pl attach the client s list and their contact details). 13. Please provide the detail specifications for the quoted items along with copy of brochure catalogue for each item. Without these information, bill will not be accepted in any way. 14. Warranty and after sales Service: Please clearly mentioned the terms and condition for warranty and period for each item. 15. Incomplete bidding documents / unsealed will not be acceptable and will not be considered in any case, and will be rejected. 16. In case of any dispute the decision of the GIK Institute will be final and binding on you. 4 Annexure-A HBAIC Analyzer (Clover-AIC, Merck) Hemoglobin (HV) is the compound in the red blood cells that transports oxygen.
