1 TENDER NO. 2 BHAGAT PHOOL SINGH MAHILA VISHWAVIDYALAYA KHANPUR KALAN (SONIPAT) TENDER NOTICE Sealed Tenders are invited for the supply of Fitness equipment for University GYM up to 3.00 PM on which will be opened same day at 3.00 PM in the presence of tenderer if any. The Tender should be accompanied with D.D. for an amount of equal to 2% of the total amount of rates quoted in favour of Registrar BPSMV payable at PNB Khanpur Kalan Sonipat. The list of items, quantity, specification, terms & conditions etc. can be downloaded from University website Registrar

2 B.P.S. Mahila Vishwavidyalaya Khanpur Kalan Sonipat Terms & Conditions Governing the Tenders for the supply of articles. 1. Every Tender should be accompanied by the earnest money as per the schedule i.e. the earnest of 2% and 5% in case of electrical equipment should be deposited through Bank Draft in favour of the Registrar B.P.S. Mahila Vishwavidyalaya Khanpur Kalan (Sonipat) payable at PNB, BPSMV, Khanpur Kalan in the purchases exceeding Rs /- 2. The Tender received without earnest money or after the due date shall not be entertained except with the special approval of the Registrar. 3. Supplies shall be executive with in the time specified in the supply order which may be extended by the Registrar on application of the supplier explaining reasons/circumstances due to which time limit could not be adhered to. In the event of the supplier failing to supply the material with in the time, he shall be liable to pay as compensation shall not exceed 10% of the total amount of contract. An appeal against these orders shall however be with the Vice-Chancellor whose decision shall be final. 4. In case the contractor backs out of his contract, the earnest money deposited by firm shall be forfeited besides any other action as may be considered necessary by the Vice-Chancellor. 5. All the charges including packing forwarding and installation takes and other levies should be specified in the tender. The charges etc. not specified in the tender shall not be paid. 6. The quantity of material supplies shall be subject to increase on the tendered rates. This increase or decrease shall be communicated by the University within 21 days of acceptance of the tender. 7. Supplies shall be made as per schedule and within such time as is indicated in the supply order. 8. Guarantee period for equipment/machines should be clearly specified. 9. The Material to be supplied shall be dispatched to site by road transport under intimation to purchaser. 10. Each page of the tender and its enclosure should be signed at the bottom by the tenderer % payment will be made on receipt and inspection of goods to ensure the specifications and their good conditions. Or 90% payment will be made through PNB, BPSMV Vishwavidyalaya Khanpur Kalan if the documents are received through Bank. Balance payment of 10% will be made on receipt of material/ goods and their inspections by the University inspection unit. This payment is subject to the acceptance of goods by inspection unit. 12. The rates accepted by the University shall be applicable up to 6 months and the supplier shall have to make supply during the period as and when required.

3 13. The tenders shall be opened by the Purchase Committee in the presence of contractor/supplier and the committee reserves the right for negotiation thereafter if considered necessary. 14. The Registrar reserves the right to reject any offer without assigning any reason. 15. All disputes subject to Sonipat jurisdiction. Signature Name of the firm..
