This information outlines new changes to your benefit plan in 2015 and includes Generic Step Therapy and Personalized Pharmacy Care for your Complex Condition. Below are four ways to make the most of your plan in TRY GENERICS FIRST BEFORE BRAND-NAME DRUGS Your prescription benefit plan asks that you try a generic first instead of brand-name drugs. If you do not try a generic first, the brand-name drug will not be covered by your plan. The chart below shows the brand-name drugs and the generic alternatives that are available. If you are currently taking one of these brand-name drugs, speak with your doctor soon to get a prescription for a generic alternative.
