(E) Be aware that the effect of alcohol on the individual varies widely and that they should be prepared to monitor their blood glucose and learn from their experiences. (E) Understand how different types of alcoholic drink affect blood glucose. (E) Be able to recognise alcoholic beverages that do and do not contain carbohydrate.
