For example, these restrictions had impaired my quadriceps, which in turn caused knee problems and pain. Over that period I was never able to progress with stretching my quadriceps despite my consistent efforts. Then in August 2003, non-invasive therapy removed the restrictions in my thighs, including adhesions between my right vastus lateralis and right iliotibial band. The flexibility in my quadriceps increased instantly, and increased further over the following weeks. It was only after the restrictions had been released that the quadriceps stretching 5
6 became effective. A few weeks after treatment I was able to sit on my ankles, which I hadn t been able to for many years. After the treatment, my kneecaps tracked correctly, and I was able to leg press without knee problems. My knees were transformed. For many years I was unable to perform lateral flexion of my neck or lower back without discomfort. I had seriously impaired lateral flexion throughout my spine, which led to countless injuries. The therapy transformed my neck, and lower back. I regained ranges of motion throughout my body that I d not had for many years. I could now perform stretches and motions I d been unable to since I was a teenager. I could now perform resistance exercises safely that I d been unable to for several years.
