1 - SUMTER COUNTY SHERIFF S OFFICE ANTHONY DENNIS, SHERIFF July 27, 2010 Members of the County Drug Unit concluded a six month undercover Drug Operation on July 21 and July 22, 2010 with the arrest of 64 individuals. Below is a list of the persons that were arrested during the conclusion of this operation. Drug dealers were targeted for the sale and manufacture of illegal drugs in. During the arrest phase of this operation approximately 40 officers of the County Sheriff s Office, The United States Marshall Service conducted raids throughout arresting suspects that were targeted during this operation. Approximately 230 arrest warrants were served during this operation along with several search warrants. Large quantities of Marijuana, approximately grams valued at $51,379.60, 61 Marijuana plants valued at $122,000.00, grams of cocaine valued at $35, and approximately grams of crack cocaine valued at $6,454.00, numerous weapons and $30, in U S Currency was taken off the streets of during this operation. Also several stolen items were recovered during this roundup. The County Drug Unit has outstanding warrants on ten individuals that we are currently seeking.
