Benton St. Assisted with unlocking of vehicle. 9:50 PM Ofc. Guzman Whataburger Officer investigated a two vehicle crash. Tuesday August 28, :24 AM Whataburger Assisted with unlocking of vehicle. 3:30 PM Quail Run While conducting a follow up investigation, officer became concerned about the well being of an adult. Officer notified Adult Protective Service. Wednesday August 29, :30 PM Chief Priest Capt. Reyes Public Works Hack's Recycling Center Main St. 4:00 PM US Post Office 4:30 PM S. Somerset St. Report of an intoxicated male walking in the roadway. Officer was unable to locate. Report of a residential alarm. Homeowner discovered back door open in the morning. No sings of criminal activity. Report of a gas leak. Officers located a propane tank that had been sold for salvage that had some residual smell in it. Complainant talked to Officer in regards to mail that is not being delivered to her. Report of a Theft by Service. Complainant paid for repairs that were never performed.

Hanson Sr. Ofc. Hanson John's Small Engine open. Officers made contact with owner who stated it was left open by one of their kids. No criminal activity found. Report of an alarm. 2:25 AM Sr. Ofc. Hanson FM 3175 near Rodeo St. Routine traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Carlos Herrada (36) for an active Warrant from the US Marshal Service for Probation Violation or an original charge of Possession of Marijuana. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail. 9:41 AM Chief Priest US Post Office Assisted with unlocking of vehicle. 9:46 AM Chief Priest IH 35 North of 132 Assisted Bexar Co. with a one vehicle roll-over. Overpass 10:00 AM US Post Office Officer was dispatched to unlock a vehicle. Upon arrival, vehicle had been unlock with no services needed from the Lytle PD. 10:30 AM Chief Priest Hurley's Funeral Home Officers provided funeral escort. 11:05 AM Chief Priest Rocky's Circle Report of an attempted fraud. 12:30 PM Chief Priest Lytle PD Report of lost prescription medication. 6:30 PM Lytle PD Report of a suspicious vehicle. 6:50 PM HEB C-Store Officer investigated a two vehicle crash. 8:10 PM Whataburger Report of a disturbance. 9:00 PM Sr. Ofc. Hanson FM Mile East Officers assisted Atascosa Co. with a disturbance. IH 35 9:20 PM Chevron / Main St. Report of a disturbance.

Lopez Chief Priest Saturday September 1, 2012 North Benton St. near Cottage St. Report of a loud noise under carport. It was discovered it was a trash can knocked over. Complainant reported a subject following him to parking lot. Officer contacted the subject and identified him. No evidence of criminal intent. During a routine business check, officer located an unlocked back door. Officer checked the building and secured it. No sign of criminal activity found. While on patrol, officer made contact with a male walking in the dark. Officer identified the subject who stated he was walking home from his girlfriend's house. 3:10 AM Sr. Ofc. Hanson Main St. Assisted Lytle EMS with a patient. 9:00 AM Ofc. Lopez Chevron / Main St. Traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a subject for a Warrant out of Atascosa Co. for NISI/Driving While Intoxicated. While in patrol vehicle, subject was able to escape and fled on foot. Criminal charges for escape pending. 9:30 AM Ofc. Lopez Gray St. While in pursuit of fleeing subject, officers discovered Chief Priest four Marijuana plants in a field. Plants were seized and placed into evidence. Report of a possible drug transaction taking place resulted in the arrest of John Campsey (32) and Kandi Mangold (27) for Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 3 less than 28 grams. Campsey was also charged with Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility.
