6 Principles of co-production 1. Recognising people as assets People who use services become equal partners in designing and delivering services -they are the experts in their own situation - a hidden resource 2. Building on people s existing capabilities Recognise and grow people s capabilities and strengths and actively support them to use these with individuals and communities 3.
