4 Brief Introduction Hesperidin is a flavan-on glycoside found in citrus fruits. Its aglycone form is called hesperetin. Both hesperidin and its aglycone Hesperitin have been reported to possess a wide range of pharmacological properties. Hesperidin, Rutin and other flavonoids thought to reduce capillary permeability and to have anti-inflammatory action were collectively known as vitamin P.
