HAMPL Fe-Seiz ml Homeopathic MEDICINE formula (no taste or smell) One dose is: pat in to wet skin/fur 3 4 drops on back of shoulder blades. Repeat as suggested on bottle. If this stresses your cat, add a sprinkle of drops in meals. FORMULA 2. HAMPL Ner-Rep ml Herbal MEDICINES drops (brown liquid - strong taste and smell), *APPLICATION: MUST diluted first in some food EACH dose given. Refer to: Bottle label for how many drops for size and species. It can be difficult to add herbal supplement to a cats meal and for them to eat it. If this is the case with your dear kitty, there is another way of giving the herbs to them. Add four times the suggested amount of drops for felines, in a small bowl or egg cup and then add hot water to this, this will dissolve the alcohol content in it, allow to cool, then you can add the suggested minerals and vitamins needed for healing of seizures. I add a pinch of Vital Greens powder or Super Greens powder supplement powder as well. Then oral dose up to 1ml of the liquid side of mouth, only small squirts until 1ml is taken. Repeat twice to three times a day until improvement is seen, then can reduce the frequencies. You can reorder single or full set at anytime. AVOID ALL Chemical drugs and products. 1

2 PLEASE READ Seizures and your Pet This dynamic involves several B vitamins (e.g B6 P5P), Whole Food Vitamin C and Magnesium. And when these factors are in shortage due to stressor s - there is an impact on the GAD enzyme that is supposed to convert Glutamate > GABA. And when that doesn t happen, glutamate build up, burn out the magnesium, and that s the reason for the seizures. It s not a medical disease. It is a classic sign of metabolic dysfunction borne of mineral deficiencies. 4 We recommend a 10% reduction of the days total amount of Phenobarbital every 3 weeks to avoid seizures from dropping the Phenobarbital too much, too quickly. 1. Change diet from commercial to easy inexpensive home prepared liver cleansing diet 2. Liver Support and nerve support 3. Mineral and supplements therapy to prevent Glutamate build up. With liver health issues try to feed in 3 or 4 small meals, the last one being at bedtime. This puts less stress on the liver. Put 3 days of meals in baggies and freeze what you won't use in 3 days. You should be able to cook once a week and freeze what you don't use. This recipe will stay fresh for 3 days in the fridge. White low-fat fish has a specific amino acid that actually helps heal the liver. Soy and fat-free cottage cheese also have this specific amino acid, but should not be used in a diet until the liver enzymes test comes back in a normal range. NOTE: Home cooking is very rich. If you have been feeding commercial dog food you will need to switch very slowly to the liver cleansing diet to avoid diarrhea. Start with 3/4 of your commercial dog food and 1/4 liver cleansing diet for a few days. Then 50% commercial food and 50% liver cleansing for a few days. Then 1/4 old food and 3/4 liver cleansing for a few days and then switch over completely to the liver cleansing diet. Make sure the stools are somewhat firm before you move to the next level. IMPORTANT: If you are switching from kibble, and/or canned dog food, to home cooking and your dog is on potassium or sodium bromide, please be aware that there is considerably less sodium (salt) in home cooking than kibble or canned (which can have large amounts of sodium). Sodium, or salt, in the diet "uses up" the bromide and less salt in the diet could raise bromide levels substantially which would cause bromism. After switching over to home cooking, if your dog has weakness in its legs, trouble climbing stairs, gets "wobbly" or loses it's balance, your vet can reduce the bromide dose slowly and in small amounts. W. Jean Dodds, DVM, recommends reducing the dose of bromide slightly or by 1/3 at the most to see if the signs of bromism go away or are lessened. In a month, have the bromide levels checked to make sure they are in the therapeutic range. Don't worry about lowering the bromide as long as it stays in therapeutic range. Less bromide and home cooking will be healthier for your dog in the long range. Note: seizures have also been seen immediately or 2 months after vaccinations, anesthetics (often day of waking up from surgery which is only seen by the Vet nurse or missed as often left in a cage unattended to wake up) This could also mean the liver needs help. Instead of vaccines ask for a anti bodies immunity blood test (and/or) us alternative safe and natural vaccine (canine oral nosodes). If your pet needs surgery, give lots of Vitamin C in diet this will help reduce toxic load from the anesthetic drug. Also request your dog to put on a drip as well to help flush toxins. 4

5 Other causes 2. An injury resulting in the animal losing unconsciousness may later start having fits. E.g. A blow to the head. 3. Vitamin B deficiencies and magnesium, vitamin C ( e.g. vaccines severely deplete Vitamin C from the body) 4. Less common brain tumour or encephalitis. NB. Veterinary drugs are used to control seizures by giving high doses of tranquillisers. But they do not heal, nor do the drugs fully stop seizures all together while taking them. Side effects are most common with liver damage, lethargic, diarrhoea, and anaemia. For this reason we have been asked by many pet owners for a more natural solution that heals permanently and restores wellness in their pet. So far we have been very successful in doing so. If you do have any problems, please let us know, as your pet may need a different formula or a different strength. This healing can be easy and simple, providing we rid the cause of seizures. Provide the right diet, add specific supplements minerals and vitamins that repair the metabolic disorder. And avoid artificial foods, chemical drugs/products that deplete these minerals and burden the liver and kidneys. Foods to avoid would be ones that are rich in glutamate and aspartate as well as those that are low in these neuro stimulating amino acids. In the epileptic patient, those that are rich in these proteins should be severely restricted initially in order to obtain the fastest results. We recommend the elimination of all foods containing gluten (the grains), dairy products, and soy. 6 AVOID ALL FOODS RICH IN glutamate (Monosodium glutamate, also known as sodium glutamate and MSG) and aspirate, and only use natural products and medicines. AVOID Foods rich in glutamate and aspartate: e.g. 1) Grains: Wheat, barley, and oats are highest. Corn and rice are lower than the previous three but higher than potatoes. ALL commercial artificial pet foods contain wheat, yeast and corn, sugars and chemicals. 2) Dairy Products: All Cheeses (cheddar, Swiss, Monterey Jack, Mozzarella, PARMESAN) are very high. Casein is very concentrated in cheese and is 20% glutamic acid by composition. 3) Meats: Note- All meats are naturally rich in glutamate and aspartate. Lamb and kangaroo meat (and eggs) are the lowest, Avoid - While rabbit and turkey are the highest. One of our newest concerns is the presence of glutamate in the flesh of grain-fed animals, especially chickens, turkeys, and cattle. This is s topic of discussion on the celiac forums and we are now believing that this is a real concern and could explain why some celiacs are not responding to elimination diets. NATURAL SUPPLEMENTS (3) Supplements to add to meals: VITAMIN C Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that can reduce cancer risk, boost the immune system, stimulate wound repair, and reduce the risk of cataracts. Vitamin C is important for proper bone formation and the maintenance and plays a role in preventing heart disease. We also know that when a dog is stressed they need additional vitamins for their body to function properly and to protect it from disease. There is an assumption among conventional veterinarians that because dogs manufacture a little of their own vitamin C there is no need to supplement it. However, holistic animal practitioners and veterinarians have found that supplementing vitamin C in a dog's diet can clear up a variety of health problems. 6

Vitamin B-2 (Riboflavin) deficiency may lead to cataracts in dogs and cats. Vitamin B-3 (Niacin) is a great help in controlling seizures and behavior problems. Vitamin B-5 (Pantothenic Acid) deficiency is common with allergies. Vitamin B-6 (Pyridoxine) deficiencies can lead to failure to grow, epilepsy, anemia and calcium kidney stones. WARNING SWEETNERS - never use supplements that contain Stevia and Xylitol used as sweeteners in health products. It has hundreds of tasks to perform, including detoxification of the blood. A sluggish liver means fatigue and toxemia and a high risk of various chronic diseases. We give our pets heartworm drug, flea pills, heart drugs, cortisones, antibiotics, arthritic injections, and so on, all cause long term damage to major organs like the liver which the blood filters through.
